5 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Bronze - Day 10 of the Commonwealth Games 2022 has been the most successful for India so far this season.
It all started off with a bronze medal for the women's hockey team but the triple jump success was by far the highlight of the day. Eldhose Paul and Abdullah Aboobacker finished with gold and silver respectively to create history for India. It was also India's only gold from track and field in this edition of the games. Sandeep Kumar (10Km Racewalk) and Annu Rani (Javelin) were also successful in securing bronze.
The majority of the silverware was from boxing today as Amit Panghal, Nitu and Nikhat Zareen deliver gold medals. Sagar on the other hand had to settle for silver. The cricket team almost pulled off a miracle but eventually succumbed to the mighty Aussies in the final over while settling for a silver.
As we move on to the racket sports, a lot rests on Badminton for tomorrow. PV Sindhu, Laskhya Sen and Satwik/Chirag will be playing their gold medal matches tomorrow after triumphing in their respective semifinals today. On the other hand, Kidambi Srikanth and Jolly/Gopichand bag a bronze medal each. In squash, Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal won their mixed doubles bronze medal match to add another medal to the tally.
As far as table tennis is concerned, there is another big day coming up tomorrow. Sharath Kamal will be playing the men's singles final after a massive 6-game semi-final victory today. He also won the silver in men's doubles alongside Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and gold in mixed doubles with Sreeja Akula. Sathiyan who had lost his semi-final will be playing the bronze medal match tomorrow.

BOXING - Men’s Over 92kg (Super Heavyweight), Gold Medal Match: Sagar vs Delicious Orie
Sagar loses the final and settles for silver.
It was a neck-to-neck battle in the first couple of rounds but Delicious Orie came to clutch in the final bits of the third round and get the better of Sagar. All the judges favoured him in the final round and he registers a 5-0 win.
