This will be her first official match since losing in the final of the Dubai World Superseries Finals to Akane Yamaguchi. last December. The India No. 1 will look to get the new season off to a good start. She will face Ramadini, who has never won anything higher than an International level title, for the first time in her career.

It is expected that Sindhu will dominate the Indonesian, although home support could inspire her to put up a strong fight.
