FULL TIME : Delhi Dynamos 1-2 ATK

ATK are finally off their mark in the ISL 2018-19. The introduction of El Maimouni Noussair creates all the difference as an 84th minute goal from the Moroccan allows ATK to register their first win of the season.

Delhi had more possession and had more shots on target but it was ATK who were more clinical in front of goal.

ATK next travel away to face Jamshedpur FC on 21st October while Delhi Dynamos host Chennaiyin FC on 23rd October at the very same venue.

84' GOOAAAL! Great through ball to Rane from Lanzarote. The substitute then swivels around the spot at the left side of the box and then as the Dynamos defenders thought he was going for goal, he sets up the Noussair. The Moroccan then comes up with a clinical finish to possibly secure three points for ATK.

79' ATK break on counter with Rane at the forefront. Rane finds himself in acres of space upfront but takes too much time to set himself up and Carmona rushing in and earns the ball back.

77' Balwant Singh cuts in from left and shoots wide. A little more composure from the experienced campaigner would have resulted in ball finding the back of the net.

73' Carmona shows his quality with a defence-splitting ball to find Romeo Fernandes on the right. But the through ball is little heavy as Arindam comes off his line to collect the ball with ease.

63' Adria Carmona goes for goal first time, Arindam saves the initial shot. The ball falls to Chhangte who finds Nandha who fires it over the target. Dynamos looking theatening now.

Narayan Das floats in a well-taken corner into the far post to Rana Gharami, who heads it across the box. Pritam Kotal then surges in to finish the goal in front of the motionless ATK defenders.

Kotal makes amends for his earlier miss and this time, he tucks it in nicely into the bottom right corner.

51' Couple of low crosses at both the ends from Chhangte and Thatal, but nothing fruitful comes out from either of the them.

49' Resultant Corner finds Kotal who fails to find enough downward force on the ball in the air and heads it over the target.

An early Balwant Singh curler separates the two sides as ATK have their noses in front at the break. Delhi Dynamos did try to restore parity by playing possession based football and building from the back with patience, but the ATK defence have been resilient enough to thwart away each of the attacking moves by Dynamos.

45' ATK break on counter. Lanzarote sets up Thatal on the right who crosses in first time only to have it punched away to safety by Doronsorro.

43' Chhangte tries to weave his way into the box but is eventually muscled out by the on-rushing ATK defenders.

41' Lanzarote swings in a free-kick but fails to find a Black shirt as Dynamos recover.

37' Dynamos not able to break in through the ATK juggernaut at the back. Time for Gombau to switch to Plan B perhaps.

32' Shubham Sarangi caught in two minds as his shot goes well wide of target from outside the box.

30' Everton Santos gets in a ball in the centre from the right to find Balwant whose header is anything but on target.

26' Dynamos patiently building from the back, looking for an opening but the ATK defense have been extremely disciplined so far.

24' Chhange tries to find Narayan Das on the left but the latter is flagged as offside. Close call that!

22' Balwant Singh plays a back-pass to Arindam rather unexpectedly and the goalkeeper somehow manages to clear away the danger despite pressure on the ATK defence from Chhangte and Nandhakumar gives the ball to Arindam rather unexpectedly who somehow gets his lines clear of danger as Chhangte and Nandhakumar try to pressurize the ATK defence.

20' GOOOAAAAAAL! Balwant Singh curves the ball in from the left beyond Dorronsoro's reach as the Dynamos' back-four remain stranded. 1-0 to the away side.

Manuel Lanzarote provides a chipped through ball to Balwant after a one-two with Pronay Halder during which time Balwant sneaked behind the Dynamos defenders into the left side of the box.

16' Vinit Rai gives the ball away to Uche who skips past an onrushing Gharami and shoots. Dorronsoro dives to his left to deny the Nigerian.

14' The pace of the games takes a dip after a lively start. Both the teams induldged in constant midfield battles.

11' Komal Thatal tries to find Balwant Singh but Nandhakumar intercepts.

9' John Johnson delivers in a free-kick from middle of the pitch, finds Uche who heads it straight to Dorronsoro. Decent chance for ATK to go ahead but Uche's timing was little off the mark.

7' Komal and Uche try to play a one-two but Uche's return ball to Komal is not up to the mark and Dynamos earn possession back.

6' Delhi try to get the ball into the box but Narayan Das' touch lets him down as ATK get a goal-kick.

3' Skirmishes at both the goal ends but nothing fruitful comes out of the half chances.
