A dominant Bengaluru side win comfortably over a defensive and injury-stricken NorthEast United. After holding the Blues till the 72nd Minute, it was way too much for the Highlanders to deal with especially after Gallego was stretchered off. Credits to Schattorie and his men for a hard-fought, resilient performance.

Congratulations to Bengaluru FC for going through to the final for the second time.

It's been all Bengaluru in the first half with atleast three clear-cut chances to go ahead but Miku failed to find the back of the net each time. NorthEast United so far able to soak in the pressure but may give up any moment.

42' Mascia drives in one belter out of nowhere which forces Gurpreet Sandhu to pull-off an acrobatic save to keep the scores intact.

39' Bengaluru FC continue their pressure on the United defence, but fail to eke out more chances after three three sitters scuffed by Miku.

36' Nishu Kumar finds himself clear in the box but takes too much time to take a decision, allowing Redeem Tlang shoulders him out to earn a goal-kick for NorthEast United.

34' Miku shows his quick-feet, dribbles past couple of defenders, creates space for himself but fails to unleash the required power on the shot and Pawan Kumar collects with ease.

30' Federico Gallego with a little-shimmy outside the box and goes for goal from distance, misses.

28' Mix-up at the back for NorthEast defence as Grgic, Rivas and Pawan Kumar fail to communicate to clear the ball which allows Miku to mount pressure. Jose Leudo bails United out of the danger with a clearance at the end of it.

26' NorthEast United sitting back and trying to hit Bengaluru on the counter which has worked so far for the away side but the threat Bengaluru are showing in each of their move may just start making Schattorie worry now.

24' MISS! Miku missing yet another sitter. Udanta Singh cuts-in and lays it on a plate for Miku in the box who instead of just placing with a slight touch fires it over the target. A warning call for the Highlanders perhaps.

22' MISS! Nishu Kumar with a pin-point cross from the left which finds Miku who heads it agonizingly wide of the goal. Could have been 1-0 easily there. It was harder to miss than score on that occasion.

18' Couple of corners and free-kicks swung in the danger zone by NorthEast United but lack of Red shirts at the end of the incoming ball doesn't trouble Bengaluru FC.

14' The free-kick is taken with a lob towards Chhetri which results in a Bengaluru corner which yields nothing for the Blues as NorthEast recover.

12' A slight nudge from Keegan Pereira brings down Xisco Hernandez. A free-kick for Bengaluru at an interesting position.

10' An intensive ten minutes so far with as many as four chances on goal for Bengaluru but NorthEast United have been able to soak in the pressure well.

7' Sudden counter from NorthEast United against the run of play as Dimas gives away possession way too cheaply to Gallego who plays Mascia through on goal who shoots straight to Gurpreet. That happened in a flash!

4' Brilliant build-up down the left from Bengaluru. Nishu Kumar plays Chhetri who delivers in a delicious looking cross towards Udanta but Keegan Pereira is present at the end of it to bail NorthEast United out.

But it had to with the changes we did in the team. But coming here we know that this is a game that is all or nothing. We will be trying to reach the final,” said Schattorie prior the kick-off.
