Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. The Indian team faces an uphill task as they take on current world champions Australia in today's fixture. After failing to register a single victory in their opening two matches, India need to make something out of this match to stay in contention for a place in the final.

In their first match, the Sardar Singh-led side went down fighting against Argentina as they lost 2-3 while in their second match they were held 1-1 by England. They are currently placed fourth on the table with just one point. Australia, on the other hand, are in scintillating form as they sit on the top of the table with two wins from as many games.

A favourable result against the Aussies would brighten the Men In Blue's chances of qualifying for the final as they take on hosts Malaysia and minnows Ireland in their last two round-robin fixtures. It promises to be an exciting encounter, stay tuned for all live updates.
