We have been here for the last couple of weeks and have practiced in these sort of pitches, so we knew what we were getting into. I felt Krunal is good in the first six, so backed him to come good. We did well as a batting unit in both the games that we have played in Lucknow so far. Each batter has to figure out for himself what the best way to score runs in these kind of surfaces is for them. We are happy that we did well and finished the game comfortably.

Amit Mishra: Feeling good. Happy the way I'm bowling right now and the team winning is more than sufficient. I just tried to vary my pace and bowl a little slower through the air and was successful today. (On his catch) Whatever I can do I am doing on the field. I got a little time on that. I think more than me Jonty (Rhodes) is more happy. The red soil wicket has more bounce and little less spin. This one (black soil wicket) I can't say much. It was turning but there was less bounce. Maybe in the upcoming matches it'll be good for the batters.

Aiden Markram: Not enough (runs). Probably looking to get to that 150-160 mark would have kept us in the game but we lost wickets. We sort of realized that it wasn't a great wicket for batting just according to history in previous games. But we were ready to scrap it out and fight but ultimately they bowled really well. Good effort (with the ball). Obviously we didn't get enough to work with but they tried hard and fought hard. (On their next game against Punjab Kings at home) It's going to be different conditions once again. The team's played a game already but the great thing about it it's a new game of cricket beginning on Sunday.
