Relief for Christian Pulisic after he was declared fit for tonight's clash. Pulisic had been a doubt to play after suffering a pelvic contusion in his collision with Iran's goalkeeper as he scored the match-winning goal on Tuesday.

Also Louis van Gaal criticised the press back home for the constant negative coverage about their national side.

"In 2014 it was exactly the same, it was not different. It was very negative," said Van Gaal.

"But, exact same thing now, same old, so I'm used to it and I think my players are also used to it.

"We're going to calmly continue on the path that we've embarked on."
