Welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the first clash between the Bengaluru Bulls and UP Yoddha!

The Bulls will look to add some fire to their faltering campaign while UP will fancy their chances of extending their stay at the top of the table.

18:51 (IST)29 AUG 2017

The Bulls face off against the UP Yoddha in an important Zone B clash at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai. Both teams are through with their respective home legs and will go head-to-head for the second time this season, with the last meeting being won by the Yoddha 27-32.

The side from Lucknow return to their travels after a busy home leg that saw them lose four game, draw another and finally get that elusive win in the last one over the Telugu Titans. Nitin Tomar, the UP skipper, will form a dynamic raiding duo with Rishank Devadiga and will look to pick up from where his side left off against the Titans. Rajesh Narwal, the all-rounder, will look to improve upon his showings and return back to form, being such a key component in the side. In defense, they will require the experienced Jeeva Kumar to lead the charge, along with young guns Nitesh Kumar and Sagar Krishna.

For the Bulls, they will be without key corner defender Ravinder Pahal, who has been ruled out due to suspension following a red card in the previous match against the Bengal Warriors. The major burden will lie on the skipper Rohit Kumar to get the points on the scoreboard and he will look for support from the likes of Ajay, Gurvinder Singh, Harish Naik and all-rounder Ashish Kumar. In defense, it will be interesting to see who will take charge in the absence of Pahal and in front of a strong UP attack, they will have their task cut out.

We are all set to enter the second half of the Mumbai leg of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5 and in action in the first match will be two sides from Zone B who are already through with their home legs - the UP Yoddha and the Bengaluru Bulls. It will be the first match away from home in over a week for the Lucknow side as they resume their travels and for the Bulls, it will be their second match in three days after their defeat to the Bengal Warriors on Sunday.

The Yoddha sit on top of the table in Zone B with 30 points but have recorded just four wins in the 11 matches they have played so far. The remaining feature two draws and five losses, four which came at home in Lucknow. They opened the season with two wins, coming against the Titans and the Bulls, but were felled by the Warriors in their next one. This was followed by another win over the Titans in Ahmedabad. Next up was their home leg, where they lost the first four games to U Mumba, Haryana Steelers, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Bengal, following which they drew against the Thalaivas and defeated the Titans for the third time.

The Bulls too had a home leg to forget and in their total 10 matches played, they have recorded just three wins. They sit in fourth place with a total of 23 points, having lost six matches and drawn the one game.
