Pro Kabaddi 2019

20 Jul 2019 - 19 Oct 2019

With a couple of major changes, the Pro Kabaddi 2019 is finally here sporting a rejuvenated look. The Pro Kabaddi League (also known as Vivo Pro Kabaddi League for sponsorship reasons) is the professional Kabaddi league of India, which allows kabaddi players to test out their skills against the best aside from the national duties. The 2019 edition of the tournament will be the seventh season of the admiringly successful national spectacle. With the ICC World Cup officially over, the Pro Kabaddi League is all geared up to garner the interest of the sports fans throughout India.

PKL 2019 is slated to start from 20th July and will go on for a duration of three months. The opening day will be part of the Hyderabad leg and will be played out at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

Pro Kabaddi League 2019 Schedule

The official 2019 Pro Kabbadi schedule for the tournament is already out and all the individual teams have released their list of fixtures on their respective social media handles. Information of the legs played out in each city is provided under the ‘Matches’ heading.

One of the biggest changes of the Pro Kabaddi 2019 is that the zonal system of the previous editions has been scrapped. This means that each of the teams will play against each other and there will be a single points table as opposed to the previous tradition of two.

The first match of the new season will be held on July 20th 2019, and the league will be played for its usual three month period with the final expected to be held on October 19th. The opening match will be played between the Telugu Titans and U Mumba at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
