The match comes to an end as Haryana Steelers win and stay second on the standings after their last league game. Puneri Paltan were in the match for most of the duration but could not handle Prashanth Rai, who put in a 12-point shift tonight in absence of Wazir Singh and Deepak Dahiya and proved the deciding factor.

Puneri Paltan lost out due to the fact that their skipper Deepak Hooda was kept quiet on the bench by the Steelers for a long time despite him scoring 8 points. Their defence was a positive as they head into their last two matches with the top spot still up for grabs as they take on Gujarat Fortunegiants next.

Prashanth Rai puts in the last raid as Haryana snatch the win in the last two minutes with Rai's two-point raid taking them to victory.

Ashish Chokar, in for a do-or-die raid is caught in a dubki attempt on the right corner as Puneri defense smothers him.

Akshay Jadhav goes in for the do-or-die attempt but gets caught at the left corner by a diving ankle hold from Surender Nada.

Both the teams have 5 men on the mat as they play on the third-raid strategy.

The second half resumes as Haryana's Mayur is caught by Girish Ernak with a block as Akshay Jadhav helps to take the raider down at the baulk line.

The first half comes to an end with both sides locked at 11 points each as we have witnessed a great defensive battle. Both sides have played on their defensive strengths and managed to keep opposing raiders quiet. Deepak Hooda, after scoring 4 points in 2 raids has been kept quiet and on the bench for lot of the half. For the Steelers, Prashanth Rai has managed three points but Puneri Paltan have contained him.
