Baba Aparajith is not out on 36 and Vijay Shankar is at the other end at 15. The duo have added that 34 runs for the fourth wicket. What a day it is turning out to be for the Karnataka skipper Vinay Kumar. Scores a hundred earlier in the day, then comes back with the ball and takes the key scalp of Murali Vijay and now takes the catch to dismiss Indrajith.

GONE!!!!!!!!!!! After being hit for a six and a four, Shreyas Gopal makes a terrific comeback. Gets rid of Indrajith, at the stroke of a drinks break for 18 and Tamil Nadu now in trouble at 79 for 3 in 27 overs.

Karnataka couldn't have asked for a better start after the Tea break. Not only have they conceded just 15 runs in 6 overs, they have also picked up the key wicket of Murali Vijay for 27. Tamil Nadu 52 for 2 in 20 overs.

Karnataka have finally been bowled out for 762, leaving Tamil Nadu to score 628 runs in order to make them bat again. Abhinav Mukund and Murali Vijay have made their way to the middle for the their second innings
