Sajan Prakash finishes 24th

India's Sajan Prakash fails to qualify for the semi-finals in the 200m butterfly event after finishing 24th.

However, Sajan Prakash will be in action tomorrow in the 100m butterfly event. His Olympic dreams are still alive but we have lost on one event.

Although Sajan had a mediocre start, he did pull up a bit after the first 100m but it wasn't enough as he finished fourth in the heat. With record holders lined up in subsequent heats, the fourth place was always a dampner and in the end Sajan finished 24th.
