WWE signed Eric Young and are looking for the right time to introduce him:

WWE have signed Canadian wrestler Eric Young as reported by both PWInsider and Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, and are looking for the right moment to debut the former TNA Superstar on their roster. Young has had a 12 year run at TNA before signing with WWE and has held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship as well as the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Bobby Roode who has also recently joined WWE.

Renee Young injury update:

Yesterday, WWE backstage personality and announcer Renee Young tweeted that that she might have broken her ankle. Today, she updated the fans on her situation saying she went for an X-ray and then later in another tweet, mentioned that she now thinks that it was just a sprain and that she’s going to be okay with working from behind the desk for a while.

Renee is set to join the cast of the sixth season of Total Divas this fall which also includes Lana and Maryse among others. Renee currently serves as a host and backstage interviewer for WWE and even has her own WWE Network show, Talking Smack, which airs every week after SmackDown Live! on Tuesday nights.

Booker T speaks about Conor McGregor and more.

During a recent interview with the Observer News Online, Booker T was asked who he thought is on the way to becoming the next big star in WWE. He commented on the potential of guys like Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Neville to be the next ‘people’s champion’ whom WWE probably would have overlooked in the past. He also commented on new faces like Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, Aries and A.J Styles who have all come from being practically unknown to huge names in the pro-wrestling world.

He also hinted at Conor McGrerror being intimidated by Nate Diaz, telling him to take shots on twitter at Nate and not the WWE and that he should concentrate on the fight with Diaz ahead.

Renee Young suffers possible injury

Yesterday, Renee Young tweeted that she has probably broken her ankle but she did not mention how.

Young has had several jobs with the company including the spot of the event pre-show host at Battleground. She’s set to join the cast of the sixth season of Total Divas this fall which also includes Lana and Maryse among others. Renee currently serves as a host and backstage interviewer for WWE and even has her own WWE Network show, Talking Smack, which airs every week after SmackDown Live on Tuesday nights. Renee had also tweeted that she would exclusively appear on SmackDown Live!

Vince McMahon sells over 1.5 million shares of WWE's stock
In a recent turn of events, WWE chairman Vince McMahon has sold 2% of all the Class A and Class B shares amounting to $1.5 million for around $32.44 million. The sale apparently happened to facilitate asset diversification and to invest in estate planning.

McMahon mentioned that had no plans to sell any more shares and also said that he intended to continue as chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the foreseeable future.

Vince still controls about 85% of the voting power in WWE and about 47% of the total outstanding shares. The company has been the subject of takeover speculation this year, ever since the sale of UFC to WME-IMG for $4 billion.

Former WWE stars are not willing to sign with WWE

After the brand split, WWE reached out to former superstars like MVP, Tommy Dreamer, Carlito, RVD, and Kurt Angle. Sadly though, WWE could only manage to sign Jinder Mahal, Curt Hawkins, and Rhyno.

Former WWE Superstar, Shelton Benjamin was also scheduled to make a return on Smackdown Live! but after the discovery of his shoulder injury, WWE has now put the plan on hold.

It turns out that all the old wrestlers WWE approached are quite happy with the indie circuit which only goes to show, against WWE’s best efforts, that the promotion isn’t the dream promotion for every Indie wrestler these days.

A more detailed look at WWE's Wellness Policy Program and what it means

The WWE Wellness Policy Programme has been put in place to both protect the company assets i.e, the athletes and to prevent things like blading and drug abuse; things which have been commonplace since the early days of WWF. The policy involves regular drug test for the abuse of prescription drugs, recreational drugs and performance enhancing drugs like steroids and fat burners.

First time offenders of the policy are subjected to a 30 day suspension, 60 day suspension for the second offence and finally contract termination for the third; thus making up the “three strike rule”.

The Lunatic Fringe looks to have upset some top WWE officials.

Dean Ambrose recently appeared on the Stone Cold podcast and opened up about a lot of issues, mainly speaking negatively about WWE’s creative team and both Vince McMahon and Triple H. He also shared his opinion on the fact that Brock Lesnar didn’t want to do much during his Wrestlemania 32 match against Ambrose which ended up being a very unexciting match.

Although Ambroses’ honesty regarding these issues haven’t been been called into question, he has received a lot of flak from the backstage management and creative. This probably affect Ambroses’ television push and we will only find out for sure after his SummerSlam title match against Dolph Ziggler.

She will be facing Billie Kay in what will most likely be the opening match for the night.

The full card of NXT is as follows:

Enzo Amore opens up about his influences

Enzo Amore and Cassidy or Big Cass, as he is more popularly known, have taken the world by storm with their crazy antics and no holds barred trash talking. This time however, Enzo did some different kind of talking as he poured his heart out about his childhood influences like Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon and Diesel. He recalled watching WWE programming as a kid, especially how Stone Cold used to talk in the ring inspired him him to find his own unique style in the present. He reminisces about enjoying the drama and the tension outside of the matches which made him want to be a pro wrestler himself.

WWE release the first trailer for Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania starring Vince McMahon, John Cena, Triple H

Between Sony Pictures Animation and the WWE Network, they are producing an animated film called for Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania starring Vince McMahon, John Cena, Triple H, The Undertaker and Paige. This seems to be a promotion for the WWE TV network and should be more or less in the vein of WWE Network’s other animated show, Camp WWE; though it is doubtful that the plot narrative will be similar.

Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania is expected to release in the Spring of 2016 and should be a refreshing bit of entertainment from how we usually see the WWE stars on their usual programmes.

Gran Metalik signs with WWE :

Gran Metalik, who was seen in the Cruiserweight Classic, has reportedly been signed by WWE based on the trademark claim for his name by WWE. Metalik has proved his worth to WWE, it seems, after defeating Alejandro Saez and longtime WWE veteran Tajiri and advancing to the third round of the CWC.
Metalik has gained experience in both CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling before his stint at the CWC. Expect to see the high flying Gran Metalik on Raw’s cruiserweight division or at least on NXT by the time CWC ends this September.

Funniest FCC Complaints About WWE:
One frustrated WWE follower filed a funny complaint about WWE with Federal Communications Commission:

WWE is refusing to change up their story line on Rusev and Big Show on 10/20 on Monday Night Raw live Rusev was about to rip down the America Flag on National TV. WWE always tapes the shows so their is your evidence. But for 3 months, Rusev and his manager bad mouths America. Just attempting to rip down the flag is an act of terrorism and it is illegal. This needs to be dealt with! WWE will not do a thing to change their storyline up. Also Rusev assaulted a member of the armed forces on National TV live. WWE needs to be removed from Air Time of all networks untill they can change their storyline according to laws

David Bixenspan on Twitter has revealed that he has got ahold of all the FCC Complaints made against WWE over the last three years. These are filed by real viewers of WWE programming who are seemly upset with content that has been delivered by WWE. Below a fan complains about a storyline involving Rusev and Big Show from 2014:
