Over the past couple of weeks, we have heard all sorts of rumors surrounding Alberto Del Rio's deal with WWE, stating that the former world champion may leave the company very soon.

It was said that he is not satisfied with his current position on the roster and the decision by WWE of putting him and his girlfriend Paige on different brands, which isn’t too conducive for their relationship, has made the former US champion very unhappy.

So he may not renew his WWE contract once it expires in October.

Although now, a new piece of information revealed by allwrestlingnews.com may change the way of looking at the whole picture.

The site reports that the former world champion's current agreement includes a clause which allows him to leave the company if he is unhappy with the way his character is being booked.

The site also suggests that money is not a very big factor for the Mexican star since he is a popular name in the region and he can still make big money in Mexico while working for promotions like Lucha Underground. This means that if he wanted to leave because of poor bookings, he could have done so earlier.
