22:07 (IST)24 NOV 2018

22:06 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Taking a look at the scorecard, I'm guessing Fletcher will go home with the match-ball, for the second game in a row. 68 is his magic number, I guess. He scired 68 and left as best player in the last game too.

22:03 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! Oh my god. Ashraf has his man Udana, after the latter took eight runs off the first two balls, including a maximum.

Udana 11(4) LBW b Ashraf, 127/8 in 9.3 overs.

Gulam Shabbeer will replace him.

But him and Jofra can't cross the finish line, as Pakhtoons prevail by 8 runs!

Ashraf went for eight runs in the first two balls, but bowled the rest of the over beautifully. Gives away just two runs in those, including a wide. Beautiful scenes. Rightful victory of bowler over batsman (technically not really batsmen, but still).

Sindhis 129/8 after 10 overs.

21:58 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Things going down to the wire. In my opinion, only the second game of this kind, out of nine matches so far. The other one was yesterday's Pakhtoons vs Rajputs, where the Pakhtoons pulled off a chase with 2 balls remaining. Here they are defending.

21:56 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Good over by Sohail. Nine runs only, and a wicket as well.

Sindhis 119/7 after 9 overs.

They now need 19 runs from 6 balls, with three wickets in hand. Pressure! Sharafuddin Ashraf is the man they will face.

21:52 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket again! Things are going bad to worse for the Sindhis. Nawaz will get back into the dugout now. He will be replaced by Isuru Udana.

Nawaz 13(10) LBW b Sohail Khan, 110/7 in 8.1 overs.

21:50 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Nawaz hits a four and then rotates strike to Thisara Perera who was playing a gem of an innings here. Struck over the ropes twice, and then gave his wicket away! Oh, what cruel fate. Shafiqullah with the catch, again.

Perera 47(13 balls, 7 sixes) c Shafiq b Irfan, 110/6 in 7.6 overs.

Jofra Archer is the new batsman.

17 runs and a very important wicket from the over.

Sindhis 110/6 after 8 overs.

Sohail Khan bowling the penultimate over.

21:44 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Sixes, one each from Nawaz and Perera, along with seven other runs, reduces the Sindhis' target to 45 runs away in 18 balls.

Sindhis 93/5 after 7 overs.

Mohammad Irfan will bowl the eighth over.

21:38 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Perera may as well lead the charge here for the chasers. A couple of sixers back-to-back from him, and one in the final ball, with an aim to establish intent. 20 runs from the over in total.

Sindhis 74/5 after 6 overs.

Afridi will bowl the next over.

21:35 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! Shenwari, trapped plumb in front.
Shenwari LBW b Afridi 8(6), 47/5 in 4.3 overs.

Mohammad Nawaz comes to the crease.

Eight runs and a wicket. Pakhtoons holding up very well, despite that Perera sixer.

Sindhis 54/5 after 5 overs. Halfway into the innings, but not really halfway into the chase. The Sindhis need to step up now.

David Willey is back with the ball.

21:29 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! Someone apparently told Watson what I mentioned just now. He shows signs of beginning to light up. The indications - two fours and a six to long off, backward point and over third man, respectively. But he tried to do more, and in the process, found Ingram's palms in the very last ball. How unfortunate an end.

Watson 29(14 balls, 3 fours, 2 sixes) c Ingram b Willey, 46/4 in 4 overs.

Thisara Perera comes to the crease.

16 runs from the over in total, but more importantly, a breakthrough wicket.

Sindhis 46/4 after 4 overs.

Afridi will bowl the fifth over.

21:21 (IST)24 NOV 2018

12 runs off it, including a four each from Watto and Shenwari. But this run-rate is not enough.

Sindhis 30/3 after 3 overs.

David Willey will come in to bowl now.

21:19 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! Shafiqullah will hold on to that catch there. Cutting has to go. Second duck in the innings. A golden duck, at that.

Cutting 0(1) c Shafiq b Irfan, 18/3 in 1.6 overs.

Samiullah Shenwari will be the new batsman.

A solitary Watson six adds some glow to the over which was otherwise totally owned by Irfan. Nine runs and a wicket off the over.

Sindhis 18/3 after 2 overs.

Sharafuddin Ashraf is the new bowler.

21:14 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket again! Malan lasts just two balls. Holes out to Fletcher in his earliest opportunity. Goes for a duck.

Malan 0(2) c Fletcher b Sohail Khan, 9/2 in 0.6 overs.

Ben Cutting is the new batsman.

More than the nine runs scored, the two wickets that fell in the over may have a greater impact in the chase. Good over for the Pakhtoons.

Sindhis 9/2 after 1 over.

Mohammad Irfan opens the bowling from the other end.

21:10 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Aaaaand we're back.

Devcich and Watto have padded up for the Sindhis.
Sohail Khan has the ball.

Wicket! Devcich struck fence on the first two balls, but he can't repeat it a third time. Gets run-out, trying to sneak in a single there.

Devcich 8(3) run-out Ingram, 8/1 in 0.3 overs.

Dawid Malan comes to the crease.

21:00 (IST)24 NOV 2018

21:00 (IST)24 NOV 2018

20:59 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Fletcher extends his run at the top of the batting charts with a well-made 68(29 balls, 6 fours, 5 sixes). He now has 168 runs from 3 innings. Watto will need 77 runs to topple him from the peak.

So that's the target there, 138 needed for the Sindhis in 60 balls. Can they make it? Stay tuned for the chase.

20:56 (IST)24 NOV 2018

An eventful over draws curtains on the Pakhtoons innings.

First ball, wicket! Shahid Afridi rests in Shenwari's hands.
Afridi 5(4) c Shenwari b Archer, 127/5 in 9.1 overs.

David Willey was the replacement. He hit a six and then got dismissed in the penultimate ball of the innings.
Willey 6(2) b Archer, 134/6 in 9.5 overs.

Sohail Khan came in to bat next, and played out a three-run bye, to end the Pakhtoon innings at 137/6. 10 runs from the over.

Pakhtoons 137/6 after 10 overs.

20:49 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Captain Afridi hits a four to lift the tension away, a bit. Still a good over. Eight runs only. A wicket too.

Pakhtoons 127/4 after 9 overs.

Jofra Archer will bowl the last over.

20:47 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! I almost forgot Dawson was there on the crease. He finally announces himself, but with his own dismissal.

Dawson 2(3) c Watson b Cutting, 120/4 in 8.2 overs.

Shahid Afridi comes to the crease.

20:44 (IST)24 NOV 2018

And that's what Fletcher is known for, the gear-switching just when needed. To make my work easier, here is the over summary: 6 4 4 6 6 1. Deep-midwicket and extra cover are his favourite spots. It also brings up his fifty, in his 22nd ball.

27 runs for both Fletcher and the Pakhtoons in that over. Nightmare over for Nawaz who gave away just four runs in his first over.

Pakhtoons 119/3 after 8 overs.

Ben Cutting
will bowl the ninth over

20:41 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Fletcher hits a four in the very first ball. And the fifth ball flies over the extra cover ropes, to bring up the team's 90-run mark.

Pakhtoons 92/3 after 7 overs.

Mohammad Nawaz is back, to bowl the eighth over.

20:32 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Sindhis clawing back into the game. Another good over, with only seven runs off it and a wicket.

Pakhtoons 77/3 after 6 overs.

Isuru Udana will bowl his second over now.

20:30 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! Ingram comes, hits a four, leaves. Safe in Cutting's hands.

Ingram 7(4) c Cutting b Tambe, 74/3 in 5.3 overs.

Liam Dawson is the new batsman.

20:28 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Another good over. Just seven runs and wicket off it, as Fletcher shows signs of switching gears with his dominant compatriot back in the hut, with a four in the last ball.

Pakhtoons 68/2 after 5 overs. Halfway into the innings. Projected score of 136 at this run-rate. Hmm. A big thing about T-10s is, we can't say if that is good enough, just yet.

Pravin Tambe returns to bowl now.

20:25 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wicket! Just when we thought Shafiq was racing to a fifty. Holes out to Jofra Archer. Breakthrough moment for Watto's men.

Shafiq 45(16, 4 fours, 4 sixes) c Archer b Cutting, 63/2 in 4.4 overs.

Colin Ingram replaces him.

20:21 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Wow. What an over. Just 4 singles off it. Like both batsmen suddenly switched off.
Truth is, they were cramped for room to get the biggies. This was wonderful from Nawaz.

Pakhtoons 61/1 after 4 overs.

Ben Cutting brought into the bowling attack.

20:19 (IST)24 NOV 2018

The bowling change doesn't affect Shafiq. Looks like Fletcher is second fiddle tonight. All he takes is a single, while Shafiq sends four balls to the fence and one over it. Also brings up the fifty-run partnership at a rapid rate, to be exact, 17 balls. 23 runs from the over in total.

Pakhtoons 57/1 after 3 overs.

Mohammad Nawaz replaces Jofra Archer at the other end.

20:12 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Shafiqullah opens the over with a huge six to deep mid-wicket. More runs come in the form of sixes to long on and sweeper cover, the last couple of balls. The Afghan is on fire. 20 runs added in total, in the over.

Pakhtoons 34/1 after 2 overs.

Isuru Udana replaces Tambe.

20:08 (IST)24 NOV 2018

The first-ball wicket was supposed to be a setback, but Fletcher sets the setback back. Two fours and a six to close the over.

Pakhtoons 14/1 after 1 over.

Jofra Archer will bowl from the other end.

20:06 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Game on, then.

Delport and Andre Fletcher at the crease for Pakhtoons.
Tambe will begin bowling for Sindhis.

Wicket off the first ball! Delport run-out.
Delport run-out Nawaz 0(1), 0/1 in 0.1 overs.

Shafiqullah Shafiq is the new batsman.

20:04 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Playing XI s:

Sindhis
Shane Watson (c), Isuru Udana, Thisara Perera, Samiullah Shenwari, Dawid Malan, Ben Cutting, Mohammad Nawaz, Anton Devcich, Pravin Tambe, Jofra Archer, and Ghulam Shabber (wk).

Pakhtoons
Shahid Afridi (c), Sohail Khan, Andre Fletcher, Shafiqullah Shafiq (wk), David Willey, Liam Dawson, Mohammad Irfan, Colin Ingram, Cameron Delport, Sharafuddin Ashraf, and Taj Wali.

19:59 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Andre Fletcher currently tops the runs chart with 100 runs from two games so far. He is closely followed by Watto who is just eight runs behind him. This game will feature both players looking to extend their numbers.

19:56 (IST)24 NOV 2018

Sindhis captain Watson has won the toss and chosen to field first.

Jonathan Trott, former England national cricketer, had spoken earlier on the pitch, and he had said that he finds the usually shiny to pitch to be less shiny tonight. Atul Wassan, former Indian national cricketer, had observed that the shine will return once the ball gets rolling on it.

Anyways, both of them agreed on a common point - how pace variations would be key on the kind of surface that is at play.

19:30 (IST)24 NOV 2018

As mentioned, the first game will be Sindhis vs Pakhtoons. Stay tuned for the live commentary here.

Hello folks, and welcome to today's live coverage of the 2018 T-10 League, brought to you by Sportskeeda.
Today is a double-header day in the T-10 League, with Sindhis facing the Pakhtoons (9th match, Group A) before the Bengal Tigers will lock horns with the Maratha Legends (10th match, Group B). Both games will be held at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Ground.
For a format as condensed as the T10 league, 'strike-rate' becomes a supremely important attribute, as reflected by the current standings of the points table. All teams have exactly equal points, but are shuffled based on their net run-rates. In such a scenario, the Pakhtoons and Sindhis, the last two teams of Group A, take each other on.
Thanks to Andre Fletcher's 68-run blitzkrieg, the Pakhtoons overcame the Rajputs in the last game. Shahid Afridi bowled a tight spell, but the likes of RP Singh and Liam Dawson looked rusty. On the other hand, the Sindhis saw the 47-year-old Pravin Tambe bowl an astonishing spell of 5-15, including a hat-trick, and will be hoping that their bowlers continue to weave magic. The form of Shane Watson and Anton Devcich at the top would further boost their confidence.
Squads:
Sindhis

Shane Watson (c), Denesh Ramdin (wk), Isuru Udana, Thisara Perera, Samiullah Shenwari, Dawid Malan, Ben Cutting, Mohammad Nawaz, Fawad Ahmed, Anton Devcich, Pravin Tambe, Ahmed Raza, Jofra Archer, Ghulam Shabber and Mohammad Irfan.
Pakhtoons
Shahid Afridi (c), RP Singh, Sohail Khan, Andre Fletcher, Chadwick Walton (wk), Shapoor Zadran, Shafiqullah Shafiq, David Willey, Liam Dawson, Mohammad Irfan, Colin Ingram, Gulbadin Naib, Cameron Delport, Sharafuddin Ashraf, and Muhammad Kaleem.
