That then brings us to the end of what's been a rather underwhelming set of results for Vishnu in the Men's Laser Radial Race 7 and Race 8. Two finishes in the 20s for the youngster, and with two races to go before the medal race, Vishnu faces a race against time to finish in the Top 15, which would be a fantastic result overall!
Only the Top 10 sailors qualify for the medal race, and although Vishnu is all but out of contention, he could pick up some valuable experience from the last two races.

Vishnu lost 4 places to come in 24th at Mark 5, but he also gained one position to finish Race 8 in 23rd position.
Not the best of results for the young Indian sailor, who showed a lot of promise with his 12th place finish yesterday. However, not a lot is lost, and with more races to come, Vishnu still has a good chance of finishing in the Top 20 overall!
