Dijak defeats Tony D'Angelo by pin.
Gallus defeats Pretty Deadly, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade, and the Rockers by pin to win the gauntlet match.
Bron Breakker defeats Grayson Waller by count out.
Charlie Dempsey defeats Hank Walker by submission.
Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin are named co-winners of the 20-Woman Battle Royal after they both hit the mat at the same time.

Before the show ends, we go backstage to HBK with Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller. HBK announces that at Vengeance Day, the two will face off in a steel cage. Nice touch.

After some discussion, both women are named as winners of the battle royal. Roxanne Perez comes out after the match to stare them down. The triple threat graphic is then displayed across the bottom of the screen.

Both women fall off the top at the same moment, leading to both women probably earning a shot at Perez. It'll be a triple threat.

Gigi and Jacy celebrate before they realize they are the last two. Jacy then agrees to eliminate herself but Gigi yells for her not to. Jacy superkicks Gigi but Gigi hands on. The two end up on the outside apron before fighting on the top buckle.

Alba Fyre eliminates Sol Ruca after some back-and-forth. The Final Four are Jacy Jayne, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, and Alba Fyre. Lyra fights off both Gigi and Jacy before Alba tries to eliminate her. They both end up on the apron. Gigi and Jacy try to send them out but they stay in. Lyra headscissors Fyre to eliminate Alba Fyre. Cora Jade comes out of the crowd to try and eliminate Valkyria, but she jumps over it. Jacy and Gigi kick her off the apron.

Alba Fyre eliminates Fallon Henley during the commercial break. Thea Hail was also tossed out. Toxic Attraction eliminates Ivy Nile and Indi Hartwell. Nikkita Lyons eliminates Elektra Lopez with a kick off the apron. Zoey Stark does the same to Wendy Choo, but Choo lands on her pillow. Lopez pulls the pillow out from under Choo, eliminating her. Zoey then sends Lyons out. Sol Ruca then eliminates Zoey.

For some reason, Cora Jade runs back down and gets immediately thrown over the top rope again.

Thea Hail tosses Valentina Feroz out of the match. Lash Legend goes for a pump kick on Indi Hartwell but she gets caught up in the ropes. Indi then eliminates Legend. Lyra Valkyria eliminates Kiana James as Zoey Stark tosses Dani Palmer on top of both Legend and James.

Cora Jade is surprisingly eliminated right off the bat. Lyra Valkyria does the honors while Kiana James eliminates Tatum Paxley. Kiana James actually saves Fallon Henley from elimination. Lash Legend eliminates Amari Miller. Toxic Attraction tries to eliminate Sol Ruca, but she does a Kofi Kingston and only has one foot hit the floor. She handstand walks back to the other side before re-entering.

Before the main event, we get segments with Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs in the training room with Kiana James and Fallon Henley respectively. They're both checking on their men and angry at Gallus. After that, we get a vignette from what looks like a streamer character. It's Stevie Turner from NXT UK.

Julius hits a throw and lands a bodyslam for a two-count. Jinder briefly fights back but Creed picks him up and drops him he goes to the top but Sanga appears on the apron. The brief distraction causes Julius to hesitate before he misses a Shooting Star Press. Jinder hits a big boot and the Khallas for the win.
Result - Jinder Mahal defeats Julius Creed by pin.

Julius rushes Jinder right off the bat. He hits a throw before sending Mahal into a ring post. He also drops him over the top rope with a clothesline. Creed keeps his control after the ad until Jinder chokes him on the top rope. He adds a basement dropkick for a near fall.

Alba Fyre has an interaction with Sol Ruca where she offers her a match since Isla Dawn broke it up. Sol says she doesn't owe her anything, but Alba gets worked up, perhaps because of the witching of Dawn. They agree to a match after Alba apologizes with a lot going on. We then get a vignette telling us that Tyler Bate will be back next week.

Hank hits a shoulder breaker off the bat. Walker then tackles Charlie Dempsey out of the ring. Dempsey gets control and bullies the less-experienced star. He hits a single-leg takedown and locks Hank in a submission. Hank pulls out an armbar but Dempsey breaks it by bridging out. He locks Hank back into the crossface/kneebar combo submission. Walker tries to make it to the ropes but Dempsey rolls it over, forcing Hank Walker to tap out.
Result - Charlie Dempsey defeats Hank Walker by submission.

Apollo Crews and Axiom agree to team up to take on Carmelo Hayes and the mouth, Trick Williams.

Mac Mitchell interviews Roxanne Perez, asking her who she wants to win the battle royal. She mockingly says Cora Jade but says she's kidding. Mac asks her about Jacy and Gigi and their proclamation earlier in the night. We then go backstage for a rundown of the Hank Walker/Charlie Dempsey/Drew Gulak angle.

Waller goes for a move but the ropes fall apart again. The ref starts to count Waller out. He doesn't make the 10 count in a weird finish.
Result - Bron Breakker defeats Grayson Waller by count out.

Waller then mocks Breakker and the Steiners by putting Bron in the Steiner Recliner. It doesn't last long as Bron fires up and hits a few shoulder blocks and a power slam. He goes to the top, hitting a Bulldog in the process. Bron eyes Waller up for the Spear but Waller rolls out of the ring. He attempts to hit his finishing cutter move but instead blasts the Champ with a knee for a very close call.

The ring crew repaired the ropes during the commercial break. Waller still has control with Bron locked in a single-leg Boston Crab. Breakker counters into an armbar, but Grayson Waller breaks it by getting the rope.

Bron hits a few more power moves but Waller sends Bron thunderously into the buckles. He does it again, breaking the second rope.

Waller hits a tilt-a-whirl spinning DDT but can't make the pin. He then locks in a Guillotine Choke but Bron tries to counter with a suplex. Waller counters instead and gets a near fall.

The crowd is split between the Champion and the challenger. Bron asserts control early on with a shoulder block and delayed suplex. He adds a standing moonsault.

She ends by saying that 2023 can start because the Center of the Universe is back.

It turns out to be a new version of Tiffany Stratton as most expected. She's acting like a model. She says that everyone missed her and that the rest of the women in NXT are sweating like pigs.

Before the next segment, we see a segment of Carmelo Hayes mocking Apollo Crews and his trips to the diner with his journal. Trick is wearing Axiom's mask.

Ivy Nile pleads with Julius Creed to not go after Jinder Mahal and Sanga. He doesn't listen, saying he can't get past Indus Sher. They both go their separate ways. Up next is the reveal of the New Year's Countdown.

Mark Coffey hit both members of Pretty Deadly. He tags Wolfgang in and they hit a tandem enzuguiri/power slam combo for the win.
Result - Gallus defeats Pretty Deadly, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe, and The Rockers by pin to win the gauntlet.

Blade and Enofe hit their finisher but Kit Wilson breaks up the pin. Enofe gets an inside cradle on Enofe but Kit pushes the body so Prince is on top. It leads to Pretty Deadly advancing in the gauntlet. The New Day comes out to announce Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen as the next team, but they don't come out when their music hits. We go backstage to see Briggs and Jensen laid out. The music of Gallus then hits to the shock of everyone in the arena.

Off the commercial break, Enofe tags in and hits two spine busters. He adds a knee on Kit Wilson for a near fall. Elton Prince makes a blind tag, leading to the duo hitting the assisted gutbuster for a two-count. Prince puts Enofe on the top buckle as Blade makes a blind tag. Prince hits a superplex on Enofe as Blade hits a high-flying Frog Splash for a very close call.

The first steam that comes out is a ripoff of The Rockers. They beat them easily. This brings out the New Day who bring out Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Blade and Enofe send Pretty Deadly out of the ring. They then hit stereo Tope Con Giros.

Sanga's friend, Valentina Feroz, confronts Sanga backstage after he and Jinder Mahal blindsided the Creeds. She asks him if that is who he really is and he says he does it for his brothers. He walks off as Elektra Lopez tells Feroz that maybe she should start looking out for herself, starting with tonight's battle royal.

Sanga comes down after the Creed entrance by himself. He says that Veer is not here but he will honor the arrangement and face them 1-on-2. The Creeds don't want it but they are blindsided by Jinder Mahal. The two take out the Creeds before Mahal says that Veer and Sanga fight for respect, but he doesn't.

Mac Mitchell interviews Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin before the battle royal. They both say that they'll win and get back at Roxanne Perez at Vengeance Day in February.

Tony D fights back, eventually hitting a belly-to-belly suplex and a spinebuster for a two-count. D'Angelo goes for a Fisherman's Buster but Dijak catches it. The two trade a few counters until Dijak hits a sit-out chokeslam for a near fall. Stacks get in the ring to shield D'Angelo from another move, but D'Angelo pushes him out of the way after saying that "he's not his boss, he's family." Dijak lands a spinning kick for the win.
Result - Dijak defeats Tony D'Angelo by pin.

D'Angelo hits another clothesline that sends both men over the top rope. Dijak fights back by dropping BOTH D'Angelo and Stacks. He then handcuffs Stacks to the ringpost.

Wes Lee joins the announce team for the match but doesn't have his popcorn yet. D'Angelo clotheslines Dijak over the top. Dijak locks in a chokehold but Tony D breaks out of it. He hits another clothesline on Dijak.

Andre Chase starts things with a "new semester" at Chase U. He says their assignment is to watch New Year's Evil tonight. He runs down the card. They also pump up Thea Hail for the 20-woman battle royal.
