After Kross retained his title in another classic with Balor, who will emerge as the new No. 1 Contender next week, O'Reilly, Gargano or Dunne?

Kross gets up and Balor transitions into a Triangle Choke. The ref checks on Kross by lifting his arm. Before it can drop, Kross pulls the ref towards him. Kross Drops Balor and then hits a clothesline. He nails Balor with two shots to the back of the neck. He locks in his submission and Balor passes out.
Result: Karrion Kross defeats Finn Balor by ref stoppage.

Kross waits in the corner for Balor and as he goes for the elbow to the back of the head, Balor counters it. He locks in a submission on the Champ but Kross escapes. He bashes doesn't on Balor's head before Balor escapes out. He reigns down some strikes before locking in a choke hold in the middle of the ring.

Balor gets thrown back into the ring and he hits Kross with a double stomp. He goes for the Coup de Gratis but Kross rolls out of the way. He hits a German Suplex and a Doomsday Saito Suplex.

Kross goes for a Power Bomb but Finn counters it. Finn knocks Kross out of the ring and he goes for a Torpe con hiro, knocking Kross over. Kross immediately gets up and then drives Balor into the announce table.

The Champs throws Balor out of the ring again and then slams him into the plexiglass. He picks him up in the Razor's Edge position and then tosses him into the plexiglass again. They beat the nine count luckily.

Balor hits a move, gets a one count and Kross jumps up quickly and laughs in Balor's face. He gets knocked over and Balor goes for another double stomp to the chest. Kross catches it and locks in the Kross Jacket. Balor makes it to the ropes.

The match resumes with both men down. They exchange some strikes before Kross picks Balor up in body slam position and runs him into the turnbuckle a few times. He gets a near fall.

Kross tries to exit the ring but Balor pulls him down between the ring and ring apron. He works Kross over a bit and we go to commercial.

The Champ literally tosses Balor across the ring, waits and then he hits a German Suplex. He goes for another move but Balor counters it into a Crossface. Kross catches a kick from Balor but he counters into a double stomp. Balor lands some chops and some shoulder blocks to the gut of Kross. It doesn't last long as Kross throws Balor out of the ring.

Balor gets a spurt of energy and hits a few moves to Kross's kidney. He gets a quick count and some brief control before Kross tosses him into the corner again. He lands several shoulder blocks and a kick to Balor's lower back.

Kross throws Balor into the corner and kicks and punches him before playing to the crowd. He suplexes him and methodically works on Balor in the middle of the ring.

Balor works on Kross's arm during the break. Kross breaks it up by body-slamming the Prince.

The two feel each other out in the early moments of the match. As the show heads to the ad break, Balor hits a dropkick off the ropes on Kross's knee.

William Regal appears before the main event to say that Kyle O'Reilly, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne will battle in a triple threat for the right to challenge for the NXT Championship at In Your House. Hmmmm, seems like O'Reilly again.

Escobar: "the NA title represents Mexico, so it belongs to me!" Legado surrounds the ring to pounce but MSK comes out to make the save and even the odds. Six man match coming in the near future.

Out comes Legado Del Fantasma. Escobar says he can't relate to anything Reed said. He was "born a Champion."

"To anyone who wants a shot, I had a big mountain to climb. You'll have a Colossal one to climb."

Out comes new NXT North American Champion, Bronson Reed. Hmmmmm . . .. who will rain on his celebration?

GYV shows up to say that they are done with Ciampy and Timmy but not MSK.

Monet hits a forearm, a kick and some other strikes before pausing. Jade jumps up and hits a few strikes and then a counter into a Side Russian Leg Sweep. She gets a quick count before Monet comes up and hits a spear. She then hits a variation of a Blue Thunder Bomb. Glam Slam for the win.
Result: Franky Monet defeats Cora Jade by pin.

Monet plays some early mind games before tossing Jade into the corner. She lands a loud chop on the chest of Jade. She lands the double knees to Jade in the corner and then a running booty shot. The third is a double-knee strike to the chest.

Monet will be taking on Cora Jade!!

Indi Hartwell storms through backstage looking for Dexter Lumis. She runs into Ever Rise and Matt Martel asks her if she wants to take a swing at him. Drake Maverick shows up to say he saw him a few hours ago in "that room over there" which apparently has hundreds of photos drawn by Lumis. His heart is broke :(
