GRADE FOR WWE NXT FOR JUNE 10TH, 2025: B.
A few of the matches were too quick and/or sloppy to make a significant dent. The main event was the best. The story with The Don/Luca is good, as is Izzi Dame taking the Culling's message to heart. Mariah May is now Blake Monroe. Having another series of matches leading to a fatal four-way seems like too much when she could have just booked a four-woman match itself.

Femi gets his knees up when Jasper jumps off the middle buckle. The two men fall out of the ring. Femi sends Troy through the ringside barricade. He puts the challenger back in the ring and hits the Fall From Grace, but someone messes up the spot. The ref says Jasper had his shoulder up, but he didn't kick out. Femi hits another Fall From Grace for the win.
RESULT: OBA FEMI defeats Jasper Troy by pin.

GRADE: A-.
Despite some tricky booking, both guys brought it. Sending Troy through the barricade helped sell how hard Femi had to work to keep his title. Had they built up the feud a bit more, the loss wouldn't have hurt the LFG winner so soon. It was a good change to see Femi have to play the babyface fighting up from under a bigger heel.

The two behemoths trade strikes until Troy sends Fmi into the ringpost. He hits a chokeslam, but Oba kicks out. Femi reverses a slam and goes for his finisher, but Tory counters it. The champ recovers to toss Jasper across the ring. Jasper recovers to hit the Blackhole Slam, but he doesn't go for the cover right away. Femi kicks out.

The ropes were fixed during the commercial break. Troy dumps Femi on his back with a side suplex on the ring apron. He hits a short splash for a close call. The champ reverses a suplex. He hits a few clotheslines to drop Troy to the ground. After a trade of splashes, Femi hits Troy with a Spinebuster for two.

Jasper hits a bodyslam and a Senton off the bell for a near fall. Femi hits a slam of his own. Troy counters a suplex, hitting one of his own on the champ. Femi hits a loud chop, but Troy no-sells it. He clotheslines the champ before sending him back into the ring. The LFG winner slams Femi into the corner twice, breaking the middle rope the second time.

It's main event time as Oba Femi defends the NXT title against Jasper Troy after Troy's parking lot attack earlier in the night.

Trick Williams trash-talks Mike Santana for "lying" to his daughter's face for not winning the TNA World Championship. He reveals he'll team with Top Dolla and KC Navarro against Briggs, Inamura, and Elijah next week.

Tyriek has Luca in the middle of the ring. He hits a shoulderbreaker for a near fall. Luca makes a move to even the playing field. The Don extends his hand for a tag. He tosses Dupont before hitting Igwe with a Spinebuster. As his back is turned, Stacks appears on the apron. D'Angelo pulls him back into the ring. Luca picks up the crowbar with Tony D's back turned. He sees it as Luca setting him up. Dupont and Igwe hit a tandem move for the win.
RESULT - HIGH RYZE (TYSON DUPONT/TYRIEK IGWE defeats Tony D'Angelo and Luca Crusifino by pin.

GRADE: B+.
Decent back-and-forth, but the match was more about the story and whether The Don would trust Luca.

The Don makes the tag to Luca, and he takes over from the hot tag. He lands a springboard shoulderblock before tagging D'Angelo back in. The Family hits a tandem move, flipping Luca over the ropes onto High Ryze on the outside.

A breaking news blurb interrupts the match. It states that Blake Monroe will sign her contract next week. Wes Lee distracts Luca as D'Angelo tries to make the tag. They keep The Don in their corner.

Luca hits a big knee on Tyriek, and he attempts to tag The Don in. He refuses the tag, forcing Luca to withstand both opponents. D'Angelo puts his arm out after Crusafino gest control of Dupont. The Don tells Luca to get out of the ring. He hits a jumping punch on Dupont

The Don and Luca will take on Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

Mr. Iguana and El Hijo Del Dr. Wagner Jr. are shown in the front row.

The NQCC converses backstage. They accept that Myles Borne is moving on. Je'Von Evans runs over to congratulate Borne for striking out on his own. Tavion Heights then says he wants his shot to break out, but Charlie Demspey wants to keep the three of them together.

Jacy Jayne gets to defend her title at Evolution 2!

Briggs and Inamura are wallowing in the fact that they lost their first match reteaming together. They get interrupted by the show ruiners, Top Dolla and his boy. Go back to TNA, Dolla.

Ava appears in the pulpit to say Jacy's next challenger will come from a series of singles matches, culminating with a fatal four-way with the winner facing her at Evolution. Just have one fatal four-way.

Reed hits a swinging neckbreaker for a close call. Jacy hits a Hurricanrana before missing a knee strike. Reid hits one of her own for a near fall. The challenger almost gets a move in, but Fallon gets on the apron to distract her. Jacy pulls her down and hits a rolling forearm for the win.
RESULT - JACY JAYNE defeats Lainey Reid by pin.

GRADE: C+.
A little sloppy in points, and Reid hung in way too long with someone who's been with NXT for years. Jacy should have won.

The Champ hits a back elbow and a kick to Reid as she's perched atop the buckle. Lainey headbutts Jacy off the top before botching a Blockbuster. She recovers first and lands a flurry of offense on Jacy.

While fans haven't seen her before last week, commentary mentioned that Reid helped Charlotte Flair get ready for her return from injury. Jacy tries to ground the challenger.

Jacy responds with a big Lariat for two. She hits two Sentons before basking in her work. The Champ blasts the challengers with a kick before choking her in the ropes.

Reid almost gets a three-count right off the bell. She hits a big kick and a pin attempt. She hits a reverse springboard crossbody for another near fall.

Up next is Jacy Jayne's first defense against Lainey Reid in her official NXT TV debut.

Sarah Schreiber interviews Jasper Troy as to why he attacked Oba. He said he knew what he was doing and was counting on Oba defending the title.

We learn a little about Lainey Reid ahead of her title match tonight. She's Southern, a former track champion (isn't every college recruit a former college champion), and did some stuff in the rodeo.

Lash catches Wren as she jumps off the top. She hits a move that looks like it was a botch for the finish.
RESULT: LASH LEGEND defeats Wren Sinclair by pin.

GRADE: C+.
IT was too short to make much of a dent. Wren hit some nice moves, but wasn't going to win.

Wren locks in a modified Rings of Saturn on Lash. Lash counters a move and hits Wren with a big boot. Legend traps Wren in a Bear Hug. Sinclair lands a series of loud slaps to Lash's chest. She hits a Hurricanrana and a DDT for a near fall. She goes for a Hurricanrana off the top, but Lash overpowers her to stop it.

Charles and Tavion accompany Wren, but she says she has this. Kelani Jordan shows up randomly at commentary after they both got in each other's business. She says Lash is going to do what she does, "talk loud and say nothing," and for once, I agree with Jordan.

Up next is Lash Legend taking on Wren Sinclair after Lash trash-talked everyone in the locker room.

WE get a video package introducing Marian May to the NXT Universe. She's in a bubble bath watching TV. She gets ready and is revealed to be now called "Blake Monroe."

Ava admonishes Ricky Saints backstage for attacking Ethan Page. He still has a bandage on his throat. She says to let her handle it. She doesn't want to see him until he's medically cleared.

Sarah Schreiber says the NXT Title match is still on, and we then pivot to Chase University, talking about their loss last week. Chase implores them to listen to him, follow the rules, and show up on time.

Vance continues to overpower Briggs, including a running headbutt. He tags Spears in, and he mocks Inamura.The Pro Wrestling Noah transplant tags in and lands several strikes on Spears. Vance hits a blind tag, and Briggs comes in for his team. Briggs hits Vance with a side suplex and a short slam. He goes up for a Moonsault, but Spears grabs his leg to stop his ascent. Inamura takes Spears out. Back in the ring, Vance hauls Briggs down and hits a Dominator for the win.
RESULT - THE CULLING (NIKO VANCE and SHAWN SPEARS) defeats Josh Briggs and Inamura.

GRADE: B+.
Some minor strange spots, but Vance looked good and Izzi has grown into her role with the Culling. It's a bit weird that such a big deal was made of Inamura's return at Battleground, only to lose in his first tag match back.

Spears hits Inamura with a big chop, but he likes it more than he should. The Japanese star returns fire with some strikes, firing up the crowd. Briggs comes in and lands an elbow. Vance tries to come in, but Briggs blasts him with a kick. Briggs slides out of the ring to hit a punch. Izzi tries to blast him with a chair, but stops. It allows Vance to blast him from behind.

After the locker room drama, we go to a Culling session. Spears asked why Izzi hit Brooks Jensen with a chair backstage. She says he didn't buy into the vision, didn't dress the same, and didn't agree when they talked about family. She says he was weak and feeble. Spears is happy with her initiative. Up next is Spears and Niko Vance taking on Briggs and Inamura.

We get a match set up from Sol Ruca's TikTok. Good god.

We could see some stars from AAA on NXT with TripleMania this weekend.

Ricky Saints rushes Page, and they fight to the back.

We then go to Ava's office and Fatal Influence. Jacy is mad that Ava didn't let her know about Mariah May's arrival. She takes a few backhanded shots at Fallon and Jazmyn until Lainey Reid comes in. She slaps Jacy twice, goading her into a title match.

Page drops Legacy onto the top buckle, but he falls to the outside. The Champ then clears off the announce table for more damage. He goes for the Ego's Edge, but Legacy falls off his shoulders. He pushes him into the ring post. Legacy hits a Tope Con Giro. He whiffs on a 450 Splash, and Page hits a Cutter to retain the title.
RESULT: ETHAN PAGE defeats Sean Legacy by pin.

GRADE: B+.
A decent match that got hurt by the commercial break a few minutes after it started. Legacy will be in NXT soon, but Page is too good a heel to be one and done.

All Ego regains control by hitting a Codebreaker and Lariat on Legacy. Legacy battles back with a Missile Dropkick off the top. He hits a big German Suplex before blasting Page with a huge kick in the corner for another near fall. Page pushes Legacy into the turnbuckle and goes for a move. Legacy counters a move and hits a Falcon Arrow for two.
