Imperium defeat Riddle & Thatcher to win the NXT Tag Team Titles

Well... that was a pretty decent episode. The "big announcement" wasn't really anything spectacular though, as a 40-something, the nostalgia for the In Your House PPVs is a little appealing for me. But, let's get the match results.....

And the show ends with Thatcher holding Riddle in that armbar. Riddle is in agony!

Thatcher goes nuts and attacks Riddle after the bell!

Thatcher has Riddle in a leglock, but Riddle rolls him up and GETS THE PIN!

RESULT: Matt Riddle defeats Timothy Thatcher

Thatcher gets the Fujiwara Armbar on Riddle! Riddle gets out and we get a series of some pretty badass chain wrestling.

After the break, we see that Thatcher was basically trying to rip Riddle's leg off his body. Which is probably a good strategy, really.

Riddle kicks Thatcher in the head Muy Thai-style so hard that it knocks the show into a commercial.

Lots of mat wrestling and MMA-style action between the two to start this one.

Well... we're getting Timothy Thatcher vs Matt Riddle already.

Carter gets a submission hold on Aliyah and GETS THE WIN

RESULT: Kayden Carter defeats Aliyah

Alyiah gets the upper hand and... here comes Robert Stone to watch the action.

Carter has the upper hand as she yanks on Aliyah's leg, while Mauro makes a pretty funny joke relating to the sponsor of the match, Geico Insurance.

Never change, Mauro. Never ever ever change.

Jack has had complete control during this entire match and then.... MAN, he absolutely DESTROYED Scott in this match!

RESULT: Jack Gallagher defeats Isiah "Swerve" Scott

Gallagher is taking on Isiah Scott and NEARLY gets the quick victory but "Swerve" gets his foot on the ropes to break up the count.

Wait.... Jack Gallagher is from Manchester? How did they not saddle him with an Oasis gimmick?

Looks like Priest is the one who attacked Balor last week.

Priest is back in and hits his finisher on Balor RIGHT ONTO A CHAIR.

Balor nails Grimes with a kick to the head and knocks him to the arena floor.

And Damien Priest is out here! He nails Balor with his nightstick!

Grimes is surprisingly controlling the flow of this match and maintaining control through most of it so far.
