...
So.... what did you guys think?

While you guys discuss that amongst yourselves, I will leave you in the capable hands of Greg Bush, who will have your full recap shortly. Until then... I'm outta here.
...
Results:
Finn Balor and Kyle O'Reilly defeats Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan
Bronson Reed defeats Isiah "Swerve" Scott
Grizzled Young Veterans defeat Kushida and Leon Ruff
Tyler Rust defeats somethingsomething Rios
Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez defeat Jessi Kamea and Aliyah
MSK defeat Killian Dain and Drake Maverick

...
A pretty darn good episode of NXT if I do say so myself, which I do, so there.

One moment while I tabulate the results.
...
NXT ends with Balor and the Undisputed ERA standing tall and seeming on the same page
...
It's three on one, Finn vs his attackers, before Cole and Strong hit the ring to even the odds.
...
O'Reilly tries to warn Finn, but Burch (or Lorcan, I dunno) pulls O'Reilly out of the ring and Pete Dunne is in his place.

The fight is on.
...
O'Reilly catches Burch in an ankle lock - except it looks more painful - and they get the win.

RESULT: O'Reilly and Balor defeat Lorcan and Burch
...
Balor nearly gets the hot tag to O'Reilly, but Lorcan tosses him into the corner. Finn gets his feet up, kicks Lorcan, elbows Burch, and makes the tag!
...
...
Burch charges into the corner with a clothesline on Balor and DANG.... that's stiff
...
Lorcan and Burch got the advantage during the beak. I DON'T BELIEVE IT.
...
...
Balor and O'Reilly have the advantage as we go to ad break - and they're meshing pretty well - but another staredown between the two right before the ad break leads us to believe not everything is hunky dorey
...
O'Reilly and Balor stare face to face, but it seems like they're on the same page - they're just intense.

And here come the champs.
...
Next... our main event
...
Promo with Tomasso Ciampa and Tim Thatcher on their Dusty Cup match with Undisputed ERA next week.
...
Reed punches Swerve to the mat and hits him with a top rope splash. And the win.

RESULT: Bronson Reed defeats Swerve Scott
...
Scott pulls Reed up by the head and shouts at him to "stay out of [his] business"... then slaps him.

Bad idea.
...
Scott with a 450 splash, and Reed still kicks out!
...
...
Reed knocks Swerve out of the ring, and Scott lands on his feet! Nice! Reed, though, manages to knock his opponent to the floor.

Ad break.
...
A video package showing off Imperium is followed by an interview with Adam Cole and Roderick Strong.

And now "Swerve" is in the ring and he's got Bronson Reed on his hands.
...
Isiah "Swerve" Scott is in action.... NEXT!
...
Toni Storm stands in the ring, alone, holding the Women's title.
...
There's a confrontation, and then Storm throws the first punch. After a scuffle, though, Mercedes Martinez joins in the fun, too.
...
Toni Storm is calling out NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai - and Shirai comes out to answer.
...
Regal tells Escobar that he will defend against Curt Stallion next week and if he "mysteriously" gets injured again, there will be serious consequences for the whole group.

Regal leaves and the three men laugh it off. Then, they find a Tarot card on their ring gear. Uh oh.
...
Santos Escobar is backstage being interviewed about what happened to Curt Stallion. The leader of Legado del Fantasma denies that he did anything. And here comes William Regal... he is piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiised.
...
NXT UK is on the WWE Network tomorrow.
...
...
Curt Stallion seems to have been attacked by Santos Escobar... again.
...
Dexter Lemis is in the crowd and he's staring a lazer bean into Gargano's North American Champion
...
With GYV out of the ring, Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory slide in and put the boots to Kushida and Ruff.
...
Ruff goes for a flying senton, but misses.

Double team on Ruff - and they get the win

RESULT: Grizzled Young Veterans defeats Kushida and Leon Ruff
...
Double springing elbow and then a hot tag to Ruff!
...
GYV hit a Doomsday Device, but Kushida still kicks out at 2.
...
Kushida goes for an Octopus Hold and that looks like the most complicated move since Byron Saxton's old finisher.
...
And Kushida gets the hot tag!
...
...
As usual, following the break, the GYV have the upper hand against Leon Ruff in the middle of the ring.
...
...
Following a staredown between O'Reilly and Balor, we jump into Grizzled Young Veterans against Kushida and Leon Ruff. As we head into another break, Ruff and Kushida have the upper hand and GYV scramble out of the ring to regroup.
...
...
Rust with a boot to the face, following by a flipping backbreaker, and then a submission move and Rust has the win.

RESULT: Tyler Rust defeats... some guy named Rios? I dunno.
