The show ends with a brawl between the two teams that will face each other in next week's semifinals match. Ciampa & Thatcher will go up against Zack Gibson & James Drake.

Thatcher took a back suplex from Strong on the outside. Ciampa stops Strong near the apron and hits the Rope Hung DDT for the win.

Cole now gets into the action, and he goes on a superkick spree. He drops Ciampa with a huge kick. Ciampa kicks out, and the match goes on. This is awesome.

Thatcher sends Strong flying across the ring with a Release German Suplex, Ciampa follows it up with a brutal knee to the face. This could be it. 1...2...kick out! Strong has kept his team in the match!

Thatcher endures a lot of pain and refuses to tap out. Thatcher and Strong are the legal men now, and Timothy drops Strong with a German Suplex. Ciampa executes one German of his own.

Cole locks up the Figure Four on Thatcher while Strong had Ciampa in a submission at the same time.

Strong wasn't holding back as he connects with a neck breaker. Ciampa escapes a Figure Four to make the tag to Thatcher.

Cole gets the hot tag, and he goes straight after Ciampa. Backstabber on Tommaso. Pinfall. 1...2...kick out!

A sadistic Thatcher exchanged punches with Strong on the top rope. Strong hooks up Thatcher and delivers a suplex from the top.

Thatcher gets the tag, and he moves to familiar territory - the mat!

Ciampa is in, and he engages in a relentless battle of chops with Strong. These men are battering each other!

Back from the break, Thatcher has Strong in a chin lock. Thatcher transitions by trapping the UE member in a modified surfboard.

Ciampa comes back in and stomps away on Strong. Hell broke loose as all four men brawled in the ring before NXT cut to a commercial break. What an odd timing for a break.

Ciampa gets the tag and his alliance with Thatcher looked really smooth thus far.

Thatcher, however, gets backed up in the wrong corner. The Era attempt to isolate Thatcher, but he uses a headlock to change positions.

Thatcher and Strong are the legal men now, and Timothy dominated the proceedings with some impeccable mat wrestling.

Cole and Ciampa kick off the main event of the evening with a collar and elbow tie-up.

Main Event: Adam Cole & Roderick Strong vs. Timothy Thatcher & Tommaso Ciampa (Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinals)

Edge is seen leaving the building, and he is asked about the WrestleMania decision. Karrion Kross stops Edge and tells him that he would win back the NXT title he never lost sooner rather than later. Edge responded with a warning. Edge vs. Kross? Take all our money!

Karrion Kross showed up and attacked Legado del Fantasma. The former NXT Champion enters the ring has an intense face-off with Escobar. Tick tock! Kross vs. Escobar should be incredible!

RESULT: Santos Escobar def. Curt Stallion to retain the NXT Cruiserweight Championship

Stallion maintains the pressure with a dropkick in the corner. Escobar weathers the storm and connects with a kick, followed by the Phantom Driver. The Champ gets the three-count to retains his title.

Stallion's comeback finally kicked off, and he executed a massive splash from the top, near fall.

Escobar cinched in the single-leg Boston Crab. Stallion tries to wriggle his way to the ropes, but the Champion altered his position to maintain the hold.

Keep your eyes on the match, @EscobarWWE, or your days as champion will be numbered.

As expected, a confident Escobar grounded Stallion and punished him with clubbing shots to the body.
