WWE RAW Live Results (January 29th, 2024): Sami Zayn gets revenge against Drew McIntyre

- Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler defeat Chelsea Green and Piper Niven via pinfall.
- Jey Uso defeats Bronson Reed via pinfall.
- Gunther defeats Kofi Kingston via pinfall.
- Kabuki Warriors defeat Natalya and Tegan Nox via pinfall.
- Drew McIntyre defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall.

McIntyre walks out with his arms raised high while Sami is left in the ring holding his Blue Thunder Bombs. Not cool.

Sami fights Drew into the corner and goes in for the Helluva Kick. Drew ducks and low blows Sami!! After that, the Claymore finishes the job. Was that low blow on purpose?

Drew McIntyre defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall.

Sami counters a Claymore with a Blue Thunder Bomb! He struggled, though, not getting as much height or spin as usual.

Drew runs shoulder-first into the ring post, and Sami looks for a suplex. Not happening. Drew makes it to the top but is crotched by Sami, who hits a top rope superplex!!

Sami blocks the Future Shock, the move that injured CM Punk, and hits a satellite DDT off the top! Still not enough, but he's getting there.

Sami plants Drew with a sunset flip powerbomb from the top rope! Drew kicks out but for the first time in this match, Sami has life!

Drew's beating Sami so badly that the ref is asking if he wants to quit. I don't blame him, he's getting mauled.

McIntyre tries to bully Pat McAfee, allowing Sami to rock him with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, though, the former WWE Champion takes over easily.

Drew goes to the floor, where he catches a diving Sami and slings him onto the table for a nasty slam. Sami's struggling to get to his feet, forcing Drew to break the ref's count.

It's time for our main event! Sami Zayn looks for revenge against Drew McIntyre!

After that, Nia Jax threatens The Role Model. "You can challenge IYO." Bayley stutters as she's backed into a corner, cowardly saying that she was going to tell everyone she was making her decision on SmackDown. IYO is NOT happy.

Damage CTRL has three titles. If you challenge me, it's gonna stay that way."

"I see the rest of Damage CTRL has gold. If you challenge me, it's gonna stay that way." Harsh words from Rhea Ripley. Unfortunately, she's cut off by Nia Jax, who bulldozes the champ.

Nia flattens Ripley with a leg drop. And another one! And another one! Where's DJ Khaled?

"Michael listen to this." Bayley brags about her record time in the rumble, lasting well over an hour. Before she can brag anymore, the WWE Women's World Champion emerges. Mami says Bayley beat her record because she wasn't in it.

Bayley brags about the success of Damage CTRL. While three members are holding gold, Bayley says she's proud to be right about the group and proud to be the 2024 Royal Rumble winner. This roster is as stacked as it can be, and Bayley is still the one on top in the 30-woman battle royal.

Get some earplugs for Michael Cole, for the love of God!!

After the Kabuki Warriors' victory, they're joined by Dakota Kai and WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY as they await the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble winner! Bayley is out next. Will she challenge Rhea Ripley for the gold at WrestleMania?

Asuka fights out of Natalya's Sharpshooter multiple times and lures Natalya into the corner for a deadly roundhouse. With Sane tagging in, we see the Insane Elbow/Reverse DDT combination.

Kabuki Warriors defeat Natalya and Tegan Nox via pinfall.

Surprise! When the break's over, the Kabuki Warriors are back on top, demolishing Tegan Nox. Kairi Sane stomps a mudhole out of Tegan as Asuka dances along to the rhythm.
Tegan eats a blow to the throat from Asuka and is sent back into the corner. She sends Kairi to the floor and goes for a step-up enziguri on Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow blocks, reversing into an ankle lock!

The WWE Women's Tag Team Champions get kicked to the floor after a pair of running boots prior to a commercial break.

Kabuki Warriors take on Natalya and Tegan Nox next. At the Rumble, Kairi Sane nearly had an incredible save when she caught herself like a spider on the apron. Unfortunately, her grip betrayed her, and she was eliminated.

Hopefully, they can move past that ludicrous display.

Imperium attacks Kofi and Xavier Woods after the match. Gunther applauds them as they destroy the legendary tag team. Times like this, I really miss Big E.

Another clothesline, another powerbomb, and that's all.

Gunther defeats Kofi Kingston via pinfall.

Kofi gets Gunther back in the ring for a sky-high leg drop to the chest, but it's not enough! Gunther blocks a second Trouble in Paradise and hammers Kofi with a clothesline.
Kofi ducks a second for the S.O.S., only for Gunther to kick out at the last millisecond!

Multiple dives connect, and as Gunther rolls in the ring he's rocked with Trouble in Paradise!! Unfortunately, the champ rolls to the floor to save his title reign.

Kofi stuns the champ with a pump knee to the jaw. Is this Kofi's moment? He follows with a few chops and a dropkick. Unfortunately, Gunther is able to secure a sleeper hold.
Kofi fights out of that, and a powerbomb, sending Gunther to the floor for the suicide dive! Gunther catches him again, sending him neck-first into the apron!

Gunther is chopping Kofi's chest FURTHER inward. At this point, his upper back is gonna be protruding.

Kofi fights off several clotheslines in the corner and goes for a big dive. The Champ, again, stops his momentum, turning it into a backbreaker before locking a Boston Crab in right in the middle of the ring.

I'm not sure if Kofi's gotten any real offense since this match has started. He does break out of a Boston Crab attempt but is immediately slammed onto the mat for his trouble.

Gunther dominates Kofi early, taking his upper hand into the commercial break where he continually hammers the former WWE Champion into the mat.

It's time for the Intercontinental Championship match! Kofi Kingston challenges Gunther!

Gunther takes a page out of Street Fighter's Bison's book. He tells the fans that Kofi Kingston will remember this night forever, but he will not. For Gunther, it's just Monday.

Andrade to RAW...but did SmackDown snag Bron Breakker?!

Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce are about to talk business regarding the Elimination Chamber, but Aldis gets a phone call. He has to take it, as it's Bron Breakker.

Andrade just signed a contract with Adam Pearce! Now Andrade "Cien" Almas is the newest member of Monday Night RAW!

Nick Aldis arrives, attempting to lure him away. But it's too late. He does ask her to say hola to Zelina Vega.

The entire arena is on their feet, boppin with Jey Uso. Kofi mentions that he wants to win his first singles title this year. Will he be the one to dethrone Gunther?

After another knockout blow, Reed moves up top. It's the Tsunamiiiiiii but Jey rolls out of the way!! Superkick and spear connect, and Jey goes to the top again! Uso Splash!!

Jey Uso defeats Bronson Reed via pinfall.

Jey goes up top again but is cut off by Reed. The big man looks for the Superplex, but Jey knocks him down with a headbutt. The Uso Splash misses, and Reed spikes him with a Death Valley Driver! It's not enough, but Jey is in a lot of trouble.

Back from the break, Jey Uso is on top after hitting a big high angle cross body from the top.

We got a Bron Breakker video package prior to this match. So, Baby Steiner must be on his way up. Check on your Wolf Dog fan friends today, we are not okay.

Bronson Reed is dominating Jey Uso early on. Though Jey caught him with a combo to open the bout, Reed's overwhelming power has cut Jey's momentum off completely.

I think I heard a "NO" chant during Seth's bargaining, but I might've been hearing things.
