WWE RAW Results, December 17th 2018, Live Commentary & Updates; Huge Gauntlet match on RAW!

It's the RAW after TLC and we're set for a big shake-up!

That's it for today's RAW show, which saw the McMahon family return and ring in the changes! This is Nishant signing off for today! Do join us tomorrow for SmackDown Live to see the changes that the blue brand has in store for us.

Here are the results from tonight's show:

- Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, and Apollo Crews defeat Baron Corbin in a handicap match

- Dolph Ziggler defeats Finn Balor by DQ (after Drew McIntyre attacked both men)

- Dean Ambrose defeats Tyler Breeze to retain the Intercontinental title

- The Revival defeat Lucha House Party, AOP, and The B-Team to become No. 1 contenders for the RAW Tag Team titles 

- Natalya wins the 8-woman Gauntlet match and will face Ronda Rousey next week on RAW

Rousey hugs Natalya and the two shake hands and hug once more as the two make their way back to the locker room.

Natalya then kisses Banks on the forehead, as Rousey makes her way to the ring.

Banks lands a huge boot and an elbow, but Natalya once again just kicks out. She tries to go for the Banks Statement once again but Natalya counters and throws Banks on her face once again.

Natalya puts Sasha Banks in a Sharpshooter and Banks taps out!

Natalya defeats Sasha Banks and will face Ronda Rousey next week on RAW

... Natalya counters and lifts Banks over her head and then lands a huge German suplex!

Banks now goes for her own submission, and then the Banks Statement...

Natalya has Sasha Banks in a Sharpshooter and Banks counters and throws Natalya into the turnbuckle. Both women are on the ground, and maybe a little injured.

Back from the break, both women are down; Natalya throws Sasha Banks to the floor and the then lands a dropkick, but Banks kicks out. Natalya goes for the sharpshooter but Sasha counters. 

Natalya lands a huge lariat, but Banks just about kicks out!

Sasha Banks is the last woman in the 8-woman Gauntlet match, and goes to work on Natalya quickly. She then lands an elbow and goes to the top rope, but Natalya moves out. She then goes for the pinfall but Sasha kicks out. 

Sasha then lands a beautiful DDT, but Natty kicks out this time, as we head into another commercial break!

Natalya lands two suplexes and a slap to the face of Riott, but Ruby grabs Natalya and throws her to the ground. She then goes to the second rope for the reverse Senton, but Natalya moves out and then covers to get the win.

Ruby Riott is eliminated

Ruby Riott lands a shot to the face of Natalya and goes for the pinfall but Natalya kicks out again. Natalya retaliates with a slap to the face and then lands a kick on Riott's face. Natalya seems to be injured but lifts Riott over her head, and then dropkicks Riott.

Natalya gets the roll-up cover but Riott kicks out; she then lands a clothesline but Natalya kicks out now.

This is a TLC rematch in the 8-woman Gauntlet match! Ruby Riott still has control in the match as she lands a kick to Natalya's sternum and then throws her head to the floor.

Ruby Riott is in control of the match as she has Natalya in a chin lock and then a scissors. Natalya tries to counter but Riott has her firmly in control.

Ruby Riott is the next one in as she heads to the ring accompanied by Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. Natalya had defeated Riott last night at TLC in a singles match.

Natalya lifts Moon but Moon counters and then lands a boot to Natalya's face. Moon then lands a suplex on Natalya; Natty then counters with a Discus Clothesline but Moon kicks out of the pinfall. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter, but Moon counters. Natalya then gets a roll-up cover.

Ember Moon is eliminated.

Natalya is the next one in, and Ember tried to surprise her opponent with the cover immediately, but Natalya kicked out. Moon then goes for a chin lock which Natalya tries to counter but is knocked down once again.

James tries to take advantage by holding onto the ropes while going for the pinfall but the referee spots it. Mickie then goes to the top rope but Moon brought her knees up; Moon then goes to the top rope and lands the Eclipse.

Mickie James is eliminated.

Back from the break, both women are down; they then trade blows before Moon lands a few kicks to drop Mickie, but the veteran wrestler kicks out at two.

Mickie tries to powerbomb Moon from the apron and then puts Moon's head on the apron as we head into another break.

Ember takes down Mickie and goes for the dropkick but Mickie counters. Ember Moon lands a crossbody and covers, but James kicks out and goes out to grab her breath.

Ember Moon is next, and James lands a shot on her as soon as she enters the ring, and then tries to choke her with her boot.

Bayley goes for the Bayley-to-Bayley, but Mickie reverses it, She's thrown over the top rope and onto the apron, but James attacks Bayley's knee and then a DDT to get the win.

Bayley is eliminated

James goes for the baseball slide on Bayley on the outside, but Bayley counters and goes to the second rope and lands a crossbody but can't take advantage because of her injured knee. She goes to the top of the rope once again and lands an elbow on James; James grabs the rope at 2 and saves the match.

James lands Bayley face first and then goes to the top of ropes and takes down Bayley and covers, but Bayley covers and gets a counter cover which she kicks out of. 

Bayley kicks out once more. This is incredible stuff!

Back to the 8-woman Gauntlet match, Mickie James is the next woman who will face Bayley. Bayley who looks injured has more misery added as James lands a neckbreaker.

After announcing that Sami Zayn is set to return to RAW, WWE play a vignette that says that KO will return soon.

5 more women to come next in this 8-woman Gauntlet match. The winner of the match will get a shot at Ronda Rousey's RAW Women's title on next week's show.

Brooke goes for the cover but Bayley kicks out twice; Bayley counters and lands a Bayley-to-Bayley, and gets another elimination.

Dana Brooke is eliminated

Dana Brooke is in next as she lands a few punches and kicks, and goes for two covers but Bayley kicks out. Brooke has Bayley in the scissors, but Bayley counters. Brooke then lands more kicks to Bayley's sternum, as Bayley looks like she's hurt her knee.

Back from the break, Fox has control of the match; Bayley counters with a roll-up cover, but Fox kicks out. Fox throws Bayley hard into the turnbuckle, and then slaps Bayley. Fox is then thrown into the turnbuckle and Bayley somehow counters and gets the cover.

Alicia Fox is eliminated

Bayley goes for the quick roll-up cover but Fox kicks out. Fox counters and now has Bayley in a headlock; Bayley now counters with a suplex and goes for the pinfall but Fox kicks out, as we head into a commercial break.

Backstage, several of WWE's women's Superstars fight for the chance to face Rousey. Stephanie McMahon breaks things off and brings the women to the ring. Stephanie announces an 8-woman Gauntlet match with the winner getting a shot at Rousey's belt! Alicia Fox is the first woman and she will face off against Bayley.

Ronda Rousey is in the ring as she "defines" what a real champion is while getting a boos from the crowd. She says that a real champion is the limit of human potential, and the best - physically, mentally, and morally. 

She then calls for an Open Challenge at her RAW Women's title.

Backstage, Seth Rollins says last night's loss against Dean Ambrose was a disaster and that he let Ambrose get in his head. He says it has gone "off the rails" but he will right it by ending Dean Ambrose. 

He's confronted by Baron Corbin, who lays the blame on Rollins for Corbin's predicament right now and why the locker room has turned on him. Rollins lands a huge right on Corbin's face.

Kalisto lands a kick to Axel face, while Rezar is thrown out of the ring by Dawson and Dallas, and then Akam are thrown out. Dallas and Dawson then throw both Lucha House Party members onto AOP on the outside. Dallas lands two roll-up covers but Scott Dawson kicks out.

After landing a Shatter Machine, The Revival get the win and will get a shot at Bobby Roode and Chad Gable's tag team titles.

The Revival defeat Lucha House Party, AOP, and The B-Team.

Kalisto and Bo Dallas are tagged in, and Kalisto lands a springboard on Dallas and then a Tornado DDT on Axel. Dallas and Scott Dawson are in the ring, Dallas lands a shoulder charge on Dawson, and Wilder saves the match and disrupts the cover.

Back from the break, Wilder stretches Lince Dorado, while Axel tags himself in. Dorado lands a neck breaker on Axel as both men are down.

The Lucha House party double team against The Revival as Akam tags in, and the former RAW champions dominate Lucha House Party.

Next, we're going to see a fatal four-way tag team match, with the winner getting a shot at Gable and Roode's tag team title. Dorado and Axel kick off things. Dorado lands a drop kick and tags in partner Kalisto, who lands a drop kick off his own. 

Scott Dawson tags in and goes to work on Kalisto's arm.
