With that shocking revelation, SmackDown comes to a close and this is Jojo, signing off. See you folks at SummerSlam!

Joe enters right on cue and reads out a letter from a member of the WWE Universe who claims to have lost his faith in AJ and is not a fan of his anymore. Joe reveals that the letter is from Styles' wife and that she wrote that she wishes Joe wins the WWE title at SummerSlam so that AJ can feel what it's like to lose the one thing he loves the most.

AJ says he wanted to rip Joe's head off after his he questioned AJ's dedication towards his family. He adds that his wife made him promise not to lose his cool like that ever again.

AJ Styles made his entrance to keep his promise to his wife as he previously mentioned. Let's see what all this hype is about...

Shinsuke Nakamura came out and attacked Jeff with a backbreaker and then set up for the Kinshasa. Hardy was too quick though, and hit the US Champion with a Swanton Bomb before walking out.

Hardy hit Shelton with a twist of fate and a big splash and secured the win with a three count. Hardy debuts a brand new finisher!

Benjamin took a neckbreaker but hit Hardy with a superplex. Shelton goes for the pin but to no avail.

Hardy now, with an atomic drop and a dropkick and yet again its a kickout from Benjamin.

Hardy managed to get free from the hold and hit a Whisper in the Wind but it was only a 2 count.

Shelton hit a huge kick during the commercials and had Hardy in a hold as we returned.

Backstage, Paige tries to get AJ Styles and Joe to behave but it doesn't go very well. AJ says he made his wife a promise and intends to keep it.

Almas and Vega say that Sunday will be the end of Rusev Day and that Vega will expose Lana and end Lana Day as well. Rusev made his entrance to tell Almas that he will lose on Sunday and that Lana is No.1

Almas hit the hammelock DDT and picked up the win.

English hit a huge clothesline and a frogsplash but Andrade kicks out at 2. A back elbow from Almas and then the double knees to the back of the head knocked English into next Tuesday.

Aiden English vs. Andrade Cien Almas

The match started during the commercials and Andrade was in control when we returned to the show.

Aiden English was in the ring as we returned from commercials and he sings about making amends with Rusev and Lana who were watching from backstage. He says, or rather sings, that he will beat Andrade Cien Almas in the name of Rusev Day.

Young and Dain hit Woods with double team moves but Woods fights back. All six Superstars collide in the ring and Kofi took out Young and Wolfe with a splash and Big E and Woods deliver their combined fnisher to Dain. Big E goes for the pin on Dain and its a 3 count! The New Day wins!

Kofi hit a DDT on Dain as we returned and Woods is tagged in. The New Day is in control now as Woods hit a DDT and an Enzugiri but Wolfe broke the pin with an elbow drop.

Dain continues to assault Kofi and hits a fisherman's suplex and Wolfe hits a blockbuster before we head into a break.

Wolfe slams the birthday boy Kofi onto the announce table and Killian Dain is tagged in as we head to a SummerSlam commercial.

The Triple Threat vs. The Bludgeon Brothers

Developmental talent from Greensville, South Carolina. Harper and Rowan hit the drouble crucifix bomb in the ring and then proceeded to beat their challengers with their own teammates and occasionally used each other as a weapon. after a few minutes of unchecked carnage, harper and Rowan picked up the win against the amateur team.

The Miz and Maryze showed up in a short video to announce that Miz and Mrs had already been picked up for a second season by USA network.

Becky took out DeVille with a baseball slide and locked in the Disarmher on Mandy for a submission victory.

Charlotte & Becky Lynch vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya DeVille

Becky hit Sonya with a huge Enzugiri and Mandy was tagged in again but took a Becksploder.

We returned from commercials to see Becky in trouble as their opponents went for a double team move. Rose blocked the Becksploder and tagged in Sonya.

Charlotte is tagged in as they double team Mandy. Rose drops Charlotte by yanking her hair and tags in DeVille. Becky now, takes out Sonya and tags in Charlotte.

Becky is in now and Mandy takes the tag. Rose reversed a suplex from Lynch but took a dropkick.

Sonya and Charlotte kicked us off and the two are evenly matched as they blocked each other's moves.

Paige announces that Carmella will be on the commentary team for the next match since talking is what she does best while Charlotte and Becky face Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille in tag team competition.

The show kicked off with Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Carmella in the ring for a face to face to face. Carmella talks trash about her competitors and Paige comes out to settle the debate.
