Joe hits Mysterio with the coquina clutch. He says he came to make a statement and then gets hit with an RKO OUT OF NOWHERE! It looks like Orton is in the Rumble too! 


He wants the 3rd Rumble win! Orton returns!

Rey Mysterio technically wins by DQ

Andrade lands on his feet after Mysterio tries to knock him off but Andrade ends up throwing the legend into the ringpost.

Andrade lands a hammerlock DDT but Mysterio lands his foot on the rope on time! Andrade instinctively counters Rey Mysterio and he's somehow surviving! 

Samoa Joe attacks Mysterio and then Andrade and it ends in a DQ!

This time, Mysterio actually slides underneath and flings him into the turnbuckles. Mysterio hyrdrates himself for a moment and throws Andrade back in the ring. Mysterio spikes Andrade with a crazy hurricanrana but it isn't enough to keep him down for 3. What mid-air adjustment.

The crowd chants "619" in respect to Mysterio. Andrade locks an armbar onto Mysterio on the ropes, but breaks it after five seconds.  Andrade mocks EDDIE GUERRERO!

Andrade is sent to the outside after missing a charge on Mysterio. Mysterio has somehow survived and thrived in this match. He slides underneath the ring and Andrade almost catches him. Had Mysterio not fought out, he would have been spiked with a DDT to the mats. Mysterio rolls back inside.

Rey Mysterio is ready but still wobbling. Andrade catches him in a powerbomb position, slams him against the ropes and rebounds into a powerbomb. Mysterio kicks out!

Andrade counters another powerbomb and spikes his head with a Canadian destoryer!HE GETS THE FALL!

Andrade catches Mysterio when he tries a hurricanrana and he STANDS UP on the top turnbuckle and powerbombs him. What balance! First fall for Andrade!

Back in the ring, Andrade eats an enziguri from Mysterio. During the break, Andrade had taken control momentarily. Mysterio splashes on Andrade and tries a corkscrew but Andrade catches him mid-air. It's just a 2 count. Andrade is beginning to gain an advantage and drops Mysterio in the corner and his left knee is seemingly hurt. Andrade goes to the top turnbuckles but gets caught himself.

This is going to be interesting. Mysterio starts off on the offence, picking up the speed early and sending Andrade out of the ring. He hits a crazy hurricanrana!

Backstage, The New Day are watching Royal Rumble footage, particularly Kofi's escape tactics. Kayla Braxton comes in and asks them whether they're willing to embrace each other. They say that every year they're asked the same question. First by Tom Phillips, the Renee Young, then Mike Rome and now Kayla Braxton. Woods says the only thing left is for Tony Chimmel to come ask them that...AND TONY CHIMMEL DOES APPEAR! They shove him away and say that when one of them wins - ALL OF THEM WIN!

Joe sends him into the ring but by the time he gets in, Ali hits a couple of superkicks. He hits a crazy spinning DDT and gets only 2! 

He tries for the 054 but Joe gets up on time and wraps his arms around Ali's neck. He gets the Coquina clutch and has him down in the middle of the ring. Ali has no choice but to tap!

Ali sends Joe out of the ring and launches himself like a missile! Joe is rocked and Ali is looking to capitalize. Joe looks away, but by the time he looks back, Ali has already jumped the barricade and ONTO Joe!

Ali manages to escape Samoa Joe's charge and hits a swift kick to push him away. He hits the face buster and gets valuable time on his hand to recover.

Ali catches Joe with a shot to the face but gets shoved down. Joe continues to dominate with his terrifying athleticism.

Samoa Joe vs Mustafa Ali

Joe starts off with a stiff strike to the face and then chest slaps him outside the ring. He talks trash and throws him into the ring post, but Ali jumps and climbs the top turnbuckle before jumping on Joe.

Ali starts going at Joe aggressively, with the ref stopping him. Joe uses the moment to land a chest slap on Ali and take control.

Carmella is talking with R-Truth about the Rumble. R-Truth says he's either going to choose Bryan or Styles. Carmella asks him why he won't go for the Universal title, and he says he doesn't want Brock Lesnar to take him to SIOUX FALLS City. 

They have a funny exchange where R-Truth thinks Carmella called him fat.

After he leaves, Carmella and Charlotte have a heated back and forth about the Royal Rumble.

Daniel Bryan runs from the ring and happily raises the title while on the ramp.

Bryan calls out the crowd for bowing to him, by hiding the wealth they horde and the damage they create. Vince screams at him and tells him to get in the damn ring again! 

Styles tells him to hold on and that even though  face-to-face was advertised, it doesn't have to happen in the ring. He chases Bryan outside and starts the attack, sending him into the steel steps. He looks for a Phenomenal Forearm but Bryan puts Vince in front him. He uses the momentary distraction to get a relatively lower impact running knee.

Vince itnterrupts Bryan and says he's tired of this, demanding he gets in the damn ring! The crowd chants "Yes!".

He calls Vince and his baby-boomer generation the parasites of earth!

AJ Styles tells him to shut up. He calls Bryan fickle, because he didn't CYCLE to the arena, but took a plane to come just like everyone else. 

Styles says that Bryan isn't embarassed to step in the ring with him...he's AFRAID. Styles says he's seen many of his opponents have that look before. Styles says that he SHOULD be scared. He tells Bryan that he's corrupted his morals for one thing...the WWE Championship. What's going to happen when the one thing is taken away from him? What would he have left? NOTHING!

He says a future with AJ Styles as WWE Champion would be an ignorant future, an incompetent future, an illiterate future. While Styles uses the title to get fame, Bryan uses his fame for the greater good.

Styles asks if the greater good is making him talk like a jacka**. Bryan says he's not the people's champion, but he's the PLANET'S CHAMPION!

Daniel Bryan stands outside the ring. McMahon tells him to come into the ring because it's "face to face".

Bryan says he's not falling for that trap, because he doesn't want to stand in the ring with a sociopath.

Vince reserves his comments for what happened to Shane McMahon, saying that it's going to be a hell of a tag team match.

He hypes up Styles and Bryan, calling them the two most passionate superstars of all time. He introduces Styles, who he proclaims truly lives up to his moniker of "The Phenomenal One"
