That's it for today's SmackDown show. Here are the results from the show:

-- Aleister Black, Ricochet, Hardy Boyz vs. The Bar, Rusev, and Shinsuke Nakamura (No result after The New Day attacked)
-- Asuka defeats Sonya Deville
-- Rey Mysterio and R-Truth defeat Samoa Joe and Andrade
-- Daniel Bryan and Rowan defeat Kevin Owens and Mustafa Ali

... and a brawl ensues between The New Day and Kofi Kingston's opponents for next week's Gauntlet match!

Kofi says he's not demanding a handout, and says that his life is blessed, and that he has shown over the 11 years in the WWE that he is worthy. 

Kofi says that he hasn't complained about many things and that he won't complain now. He asks Vince McMahon what he needs to do to get an opportunity. He says the WWE Universe believes in him, as Randy Orton's music hits. Vince says that he has to beat Randy Orton... and then Samoa Joe's music hits... and The Bar's music hits... and Vince says he has to beat all these people, and then Rowan's music hits.

VInce McMahon says that Kofi Kingston has to defeat Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, The Bar, and Rowan in a Gauntlet match next week to get an opportunity for the WWE Championship.

Vince McMahon says that he's a pretty good judge of talent and that if Kofi was worthy of a championship match, he would deserve a match. McMahon praises Kofi and that he will be in the Hall of Fame but only as a part of The New Day and not an independent wrestler. 

McMahon says Kofi is not championship material, and that when he was speaking Daniel Bryan backstage, Bryan said that Kofi is a good "B+ player".

Big E tells McMahon that he's not in the mood for lessons from McMahon. Big E and Xavier Woods tell that Kofi deserves better and MORE. McMahon disagrees and says that The New Day and the WWE Universe doesn't deserve anything, and he doesn't deserve anything as well. 

Big E says that this is bigger than everything and even McMahon's ego. Xavier Woods says that Kofi Kingston defeated WWE Champions and that's one of the reasons Kofi should be in the WWE Championship match.

McMahon says that Kofi Kingston and the WWE Universe wants to hear what you want to hear. McMahon goes on but he's interrupted by The New Day.

McMahon says that he's going to give Kofi Kingston an opportunity for a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 35. A vignette is played about what happened at Fastlane where Kofi was in a handicap match against The Bar.

As Bryan and Rowan walk back, Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring.

Ali tries to reach Owens for a tag but Bryan counters. Rowan breaks the count and Owens interferes. Ali and Owens land a superkick on Rowan but Rowan counters; Bryan and Rowan combine and Rowan lands a chokeslam on Ali and gets the three count.

Daniel Bryan and Rowan defeat Kevin Owens and Mustafa Ali

Bryan and Rowan are dominating Ali as Bryan takes Ali to the top rope and lands his back hard on the mat. Bryan locks in the Lebell Lock, but Ali gets his foot on the rope to break the submission hold. 

Bryan lands elbows to the face of Ali, but Ali counters with a punch and then a dropkick.

Owens lands a kick to the head of Rowan and tags Mustafa Ali, who himself lands a kick between the eyes of Rowan, but Rowan counters and kicks Owens to the face. 

Bryan is tagged in who lands a kick to Ali's chest and then lands a headlock; Ali counters, but Bryan puts him in a submission once again.

The tag team match starts with Owens and Bryan, as Owens slams and lands a senton on Bryan. Bryan tags in Rowan who lands an elbow and bulldozes Owens to the floor.

An angry Samoa Joe attacks R-Truth, and then his own tag team partner, Andrade.

Back in the ring, Joe has put Mysterio in a submission hold. Andrade is then tagged in who lands multiple suplexes on Mysterio, but Mysterio counters, but he's far away from his teammate to tag in. Zelina Vega tries to hold on to Mysterio, but Carmella pulls her away.

R-Truth is tagged in and does a "you can't see me" and a five-knuckle shuffle. He went for the Attitude Adjustment, but Joe tags in and lands a huge kick, but Mysterio had tagged in before. He lands a 619 on Andrade, but Joe is the legal man.

Joe goes for the Uranage, but Mysterio counters and gets a roll-up cover and the win.

Rey Mysterio and R-Truth defeat Samoa Joe and Andrade

The match kicks off with Andrade and R-Truth, as Andrade lands a kick, but Truth counters and then tags in Rey Mysterio, who tries to get some momentum going but doesn't see the tag from Samoa Joe, who catches Mysterio, and is later thrown out of the ring.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is seen leaving Vince McMahon's office and is asked about what he was speaking with McMahon about it. 

Bryan says McMahon made a tag team match for later tonight as Daniel Bryan and Rowan will face off against Kevin Owens and Mustafa Ali.

Charlotte Flair says that she's been "hot" for 4 years rather than Becky's six months. 

Flair says the WWE Universe supports Becky because they feel sorry for her. 

Becky says that Flair didn't do anything for the Women's Division for years, but Becky's great run helped set up a WrestleMania main event match.

Becky Lynch states that "she's back" - back on her own two feet and in the match at WrestleMania 35. 

She says that she will do everything to reclaim everything that's been taken from her... and Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring. She congratulates Becky for making it to "her main event".

Becky Lynch is now in the ring as a vignette featuring the Charlotte Flair-Ronda Rousey-Ronda Rousey feud is played.

Backstage, The IIconics are challenging Women's Tag Team champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley, and that "their future" is on SmackDown.

Deville goes for kicks on Asuka, before Asuka counters with kicks of her own and then throws her face to the floor. Asuka goes for the drop kick, but Deville moves out and takes advantage of the situation, landing a few kicks.

Asuka counters with quick punches and then a huge knee to the face of Deville. Asuka takes out Deville, but Mandy Rose, who is ringside, gets hit in the face.

Back in the ring, Asuka counters and puts Deville in the Asuka Lock, and Deville taps out.

Asuka defeats Sonya Deville.

Orton says that this is his house and he wants his rent. Styles points to the WrestleMania sign and tells Orton to "come and take it".

Orton then puts up the "two sweet" sign to mock Styles. Styles says that the indie stars in the WWE earned their way up, unlike Orton, who made it big thanks to his last name. 

Styles then lists the factions that he's been a part of to get to the top, and calls them his babysitters.

AJ Styles says that for a person like Orton who doesn't follow the indies, he's surprised that he knows how well he knows about his career. Styles then mocks Orton's finishing move, as well as his signature pose.

Randy Orton lists out the achievements he has had in the WWE, and is unhappy that SmackDown is "the house that AJ Styles built" while he's been in the WWE for almost two decades.

The Usos, in a backstage segment, hype a potential WrestleMania 35 match with the eight-man that were there in the last match, as well as The New Day. Latest reports have suggested that the Hardy Boyz could be their opponents at WrestleMania 35.

The New Day come into the ring and attack Rusev and Nakamura as the match ends in a No DQ. They then carry on to attack Sheamus and Cesaro as the trio are unhappy and angry.

Sheamus is thrown to the outside by Ricochet, but Cesaro helps his tag team partner up and tags in, while Matt Hardy is also tagged in, who throws Sheamus' face onto the turnbuckle before Jeff Hardy is tagged in who lands a Poetry in Motion. 

There's absolute mayhem in the ring as there are kicks all around. Jeff Hardy lands a Swanton Bomb on Cesaro, but Sheamus and Rusev breaks the count. All eight men are in the ring, going at each other!
