Currently, on a 13 fight winning streak in the UFC Khabib has become the face of the UFC Lightweight Division. After an extremely controversial UFC 229, where Nurmagomedov secured a victory over Conor McGregor.
There is no doubt right now that Khabib is possibly one of the most accomplished fighters on the mat, and he has managed a 27-0 record in his career, something which is incredible by anyone's standards.
His infrequency between fights is one of the reasons that he is not higher up on this list, having fought in only 5 fights in the last 5 years.
It will be interesting to see who is next for Khabib when he finally comes back to the UFC following the Nevada Athletic Commission hearing this month.
