#1. The Respect And Attitude

UFC Fight Night: Lauzon v Johnson
UFC Fight Night: Lauzon v Johnson

In obvious contrast to UFC 229, UFC Fight Night 138 was all about respect while UFC 229's main event's end had been complemented by a brawl, which was the perfect representation of the disrespect and disdain those two fighters had for each other.

On the opposite end of the spectrum was UFC Fight Night 138. Each fighter respected his opponent and showed an obvious interest in the other's well being. Fists were bumped, hugs and well-wishes were exchanged after each fight.

On top of that, Artem Lobov promised that he would return the 20% of Michael Johnson's purse which he was to be given as a result of Johnson failing to make weight for their bout. While Lobov lost, and only the future will show whether he lives up to his promise, the gesture was one which fans looked upon warmly.
