Both the fighters were cut open in the second round, and the referee had to pause the fight for a while to check on them and their ability to continue before restarting.
When the fight did restart, the two of them stood across the Octagon from each other laughing, at what they had done to each other, and the fact that both of them were still standing.
The moment of sheer incredulous respect and laughter between the two fighters had the audience cheering and laughing right along with them, as they knew they were a witness to something special.
