#3 The End of the Co-Headliner
Alex Oliveira proved to the world once again that he was here to stay. He took on UFC rookie Carlo Pedersoli who was coming into the fight on the back of a win streak. Despite talk that he was actually in for an upset, Pedersoli did not grab the opportunity.
Pedersoli was not ready for what came his way, and as he threw a kick, he was caught out with a short right hand that knocked him down. After that, it was only a matter of how long it took Oliveira to knock him out via the Ground and Pound.
Too soon for Pedersoli, with 29 seconds of the 1st round gone, that was it. Alex Oliveira had picked up the win and with it possibly gave himself a chance against one of the top ranked fighters.
