The best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be; Bret Hart stands in a league of his own when it comes to wrestling. Responsible for being one of the best WWE stars in the era preceding the Attitude Era, and following Hulk Hogan's departure from the company, Hart helped WWE to add a level of legitimacy to their product.
While there is no doubt that 'The Hitman' was one of the best in his business, this is not a legacy he alone shares. Coming from his own home country of Canada, is another man who helped carve out a spot for UFC in the relatively unknown world of MMA.
Georges St-Pierre and Bret Hart could not have been two more different people if they tried, with GSP coming from a childhood where he was bullied in school and later learnt MMA, while Hart learnt wrestling along with his siblings and cousins in the famous Hart Dungeon of Stu Hart.
A matchup between the two would have been quite the thing to see.
