#4. Demian Maia:
Currently a top fixture in UFC, Maia has seen better days. Aged 40, his last three fights ended in a loss, and for any fighter, that's not the biggest confidence boost in the world.
However, there was a time when Maia was an indomitable figure in the Octagon. With some of the best neck cranks and the Rear Naked Chokes, he has picked up more than a few wins via submission during the course of his UFC career.
Tied with the 3rd most submission wins in UFC, he has submitted the likes of Neil Magny, Chael Sonnen and Rick Story among others. Even given his recent spate of bad form, who ever he comes up against next will have a lot to worry about when he is through with them.
