Video: 5-on-5 MMA fight between Russia vs Poland turns ugly

TFC Event 3 Barbarians between Russia and Poland

A combat sport generally involves a duel between two individuals, but the organizers of an event in Russia actually went beyond the regular MMA rules and did an experimentation of their own, pitching 10 male fighters divided into two teams against each other. The event, known as TFC Event 3 Barbarians, involved two teams, FT (St. Petersburg, Russia) and HFA (Gdynia, Poland), and it seemed like an innovative concept at first glance.

But after the referee kicked off the contest, things turned ugly as the fight drifted from an organized combat sport to a street brawl devoid of any rules. Punches and kicks were thrown around wildly and fighters even teamed up to take down their lone opponents.
