This angle could actually build heat for the UFC fight
The Royal Rumble match is always full of surprises. Could WWE book the angle of the century and have Brock Lesnar decimating everyone in the match? And then the clock counts down, with DC running out. Cormier tosses Lesnar to the floor and the two men brawl all the way to the backstage area.

This could even be a good setup for the eventual highly-anticipated UFC fight. It would certainly get people talking and invested in the proceedings. Dana White may just let it happen because it will certainly get a lot more eyeballs on the eventual UFC fight.

And the best part about pulling something like this off is that Cormier does not have to learn how to wrestle at all. He just has to toss Lesnar out of the ring and eliminate himself in the process too.
