If CM Punk decides to reverse his decision and make a comeback to the WWE, there’s always a John Cena-angle waiting for him! Punk doesn’t hate Cena but hates the fact that Cena is considered the face of the business, while he was merely a periphery figure.
The ‘pipebomb’ acquainted us with the issues that Punk has with Cena’s ‘prima donna’ self and what he’d do just to be counted as an elite member of the WWE! This was one of the major reasons Punk decided to forge a career outside of the WWE, in addition to citing a tempestuous relationship with the boss!
A return for Punk would re-ignite an angle with John Cena, something that is much needed for the business and if it’s good for the business (like Vince always says) it definitely might be on the cards!
