Brave Combat Federation has announced the fight card for the eleventh edition of the event to be hosted in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The event will take place on 13th April at the Mineirao Stadium Terrace at Belo Horizonte. The event marks the third edition hosted in Brazil and features an Interim Championship title fight at the lightweight division of the promotion.
2016 Brazilian Fighter of the Year, Luan Santiago, will face former UFC prospect, Lucas Martins in the main event. The main card also features pioneer and champion of multiple promotions, Gesias Cavalcante facing Erivan Pereira in the lightweight division.
9-time IBJJF World Championship gold medalist, Bruno Malfacine will debut in Brave Combat Federation facing Rafael Pereira. Malfacine is one of the greatest competitors in Jiu-Jitsu history, winning nine IBJJF World Championship gold medals, four IBJJF Pan American titles, having surpassed the world championships gold medal record established by Omar Salum in 2000.
Ahmed Amir will make his first fight outside the Middle East when he faces Cleiton Silva. Amir has taken training to the next level by joining the Straight Blast Gym Ireland, becoming the first fighter from the Middle East to be trained under John Kavanagh.
Georges Bardawil will have his first appearance in the promotion when he faces Carlos Souza in the Bantamweight division. The fight card also features women's strawweight bout for the first time by the promotion in Brazil where Luana Pinheiro will fight Elaine Leal.
The other fights in the preliminary card include Michiel Opperman facing Bruno Assis, Marcel Adur facing Fernando Lourenço, Marcos Conrado Jr. facing Joaquim Ferreira, Alessandro Gambulino facing Rodrigo Cavalheiro and Arnold Quero facing Caio Gregório.
The promotion has announced that the venue for the 12th edition of the event will be announced during the fight night and will feature the latest prospects signed by the promotion in 2018.
