- UFC on Fox released a video of the Ultimate Insider, which features CM Punk along with other UFC stars like Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, and Luke Rockhold training at the EXOS high-tech athlete performance facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Several prominent UFC fighters were invited, as part of the combat sports promotion's new injury prevention initiative.
Speaking about the EXOS training institute, Punk said, "This is the place to be if you're an athlete, They have a set regimen they've been putting us through. It's all functional stuff for what we have to do when we step into the Octagon."
- UFC did some cleaning up of their roster this week, as they released 14 fighters. Among them were former Shooto and Sengoku champion, as well as an ex-MFC light heavyweight champion. Below is the complete list of the fighters released:
