Danial Williams is gearing up for the biggest opportunity of his combat sports career—and he's ready to show how much heart he has against Superlek Kiatmoo9.

'Mini T' is stepping in on late notice to challenge Superlek for the flyweight kickboxing world title at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. He is replacing Rodtang Jitmuangnon, who had to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury.

The 29-year-old was originally scheduled to face Portugal's Rui Botehlo, but the chance to compete for a world title fell on his lap.

"It's not about the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog... I like that saying even more now. Time to dust off the old 8oz for a Kickboxing scrap🥊

Danial Williams is learning how to rest his mind and body

Gaining more and more experience in the fight game has taught Williams how to preserve his mind and body. He told ONE Championship:

“Yeah, definitely a thing of the past because it's just not really understanding myself. And it was kind of doing things for other people other than yourself. As I said, the big thing, rest, it’s an important thing for me now. It always has been. I was just so distracted with things. I tried to make money.
"Resting has been the biggest thing that's going to help me the most this year, and I've sorted that out now. So yeah, I don't think I'll burn out at all. I just think I'm just doing a lot of self-work.”

Prior to his loss against Jeremy Miado in his last appearance, Danial Williams has been surging—picking up consecutive wins over Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, Namiki Kawahara, and Zelang Zhaxi.

Meanwhile, Superlek attained the vacant flyweight kickboxing world title by defeating Spain's Daniel Puertas in his most-recent outing.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24 to watch Danial Williams attempt to dethrone Superlek in a flyweight kickboxing world title, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

All of the action will be broadcast live and for free to Amazon Prime subscribers across North America.
