Since after the announcement regarding the heavyweight legend's return to the cage, there have been rumors and suggestions about where and whom Fedor 'Last Emperor' Emelianenko must fight.
Many, including his former manager Vadim Finkelchtein shared similar views of Fedor making a debut in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and completing the titles on his record. Though there have been reports where Fedor says he doesn't regret not fighting for the UFC, this could easily change. Even so, we should understand that the 'Last Emperor' shall not comeback, but with a bang!
In a recent Q&A session on 28th July, 2015 at a youth forum, Fedor revealed his plans and wishes. To the delight of his fans and all those who were waiting for his comeback, he said that he would like to face Fabricio Werdum. Yes, the same Fabricio Werdum who was the initiator of the downfall of the Last Emperor’s kingdom. After strapping Fedor of his crowned glory and making his mark in Strikeforce, Fabricio tool a route to UFC to claim Heavyweight title there. The Last Emperor now wishes to cheer his subjects against the very fight that upset them earlier.
He now wants a chance at the possession of consensus No. 1 heavyweight champion. If this happens, it'll be fireworks. His debut in UFC and yet another event in history...the UFC title.
