Brave Combat Federation is all set for its second entry into India with a fight card filled with some of the top Indian talents.

Angad Bisht, the veteran SFL fighter (Super FIght League) will also make his debut in Brave 20. Angad will face the Team Lakey prospect Harold Banario in a bantamweight matchup in the Brave CF Hydrabad card.

This is a last minute change of opponent for Angat after Keith Lee backed out of the fight due to an injury.

The rising Indian prospect is confident and relaxed ahead of his big fight and promises to give his best before his countryman. I got an opportunity to speak with this young Indian talent ahead of his Brave 20 fight against Harold Banario.

Here are the excerpts of our conversation:

How does it feel to be fighting for one of the best MMA promotions in the world? What does it mean for your career?

This is a huge opportunity for me. I got some skills and finally, I'm getting a chance to show my skills in front of a huge audience. After this fight, I'll definitely on another level.

You had a last minute change of opponent, does that affect your game plan in any way?

No, actually I'm always in training mode and I don't get scared of a fight so it's all cool for me.

Harold Banario is the brother of the former ONE featherweight champ and a rising prospect from team Lakey. Which means you can expect some high-level striking and we'll roundedness. What special preparations have you taken for this fight?

I saw his fights and I was surprised he was taking all his opponent to the ground and doing clinch fight. So I was working on fighting against the cage and guard prevention and some ground and pound skills. And Banario brothers are tough, I'm happy cause I'm tough too it's gonna be a good fight.

What was your reaction when you realized Keith Lee had to withdraw? Which matchup are you more interested in, Banario or Keith?

Keith, I wanted to fight him so bad. I was disappointed that he pulled fight cause of shoulder injury I don't if it's true though. But it's okay s**t happens. All I know. I'm happy that I'm getting a fight. I love to fight.

Can you tell us a bit about your early training? How was growing up in the hills, did it impact in making you more tough as a fighter?

I think somewhere it's in my genes to fight. Our blood needs to carry more RBC. So, Growing up between mountain help me a lot in career, strong people, strong mindset. Most of the time I learned from YouTube and I trained so hard and that's why I just don't get Exhausted.

What about BJJ? When did you get first exposed to BJJ? And what's your take on the growing BJJ scene in India?

I was training in Delhi in a small MMA Gym Fearout MMA. We had a karate teacher. But we also had some BJJ classes.

And To be honest, We didn't what actually we are doing. It was all rough rolling, no sweeps no position no control. Just grab the neck tightly that's all. There was no system, No knowledge of the fundamentals, just go and get the submission.

But later on, when I got deep into BJJ, I realized it's a beauty, Jiu-jitsu is like Human Chess. There was a time when I trained In FCC BANGALORE FOR 20 days with Professor Issac dull he's a black belt in BJJ, there I learned how to learn and how to teach.

Any comments about the BJJ scene in India? What we lack and where we can improve. As a person who got proper exposure to BJJ scene a bit later, what's your take on that?

To be honest, everyone is making money in India MMA. I see a lot of MMA gym in Delhi and literally, they don't have any system, not at all, nothing. They're making fool of a lot of kids. But there are few BJJ/MMA gym they have good trainer good system but poor kids can't train because of the expenses.

There have been call outs and friendly invites for a fight from the other side of our border lately. What's your take on this situation? Are you up for a challenge from Pakistan? Do you have any names?

Yes, I know Mehmosh wanted to fight in India. I saw that interview. I would love to give him an answer and this can change the MMA scene in India.

And one final question, Any prediction for this fight?

I don't know about win or lose. But this is going to be all action-packed three round and It's gonna be a great fight

Really hoping that you give your best brother. Anything else you feel like telling our readers?
