ONE strawweight world champion, Joshua Pacio, has been preparing for a showdown with No.1-ranked contender Jarred "The Monkey God" Brooks since the spring. With winter now upon us, fans are still anxiously awaiting the strawweight title clash. Thankfully, that wait is almost over.

Discussing the upcoming headliner with the promotion is Mark Sangiao, Joshua Pacio’s head coach.The two warriors were previously scheduled to scrap in the summer and Sangiao believes his fighter will be more than ready for the challenge ’The Monkey God' brings to the Circle on December 3rd:

“This fight was supposed to take place as early as June 3. We never stopped training for Jarred Brooks ever since. I think Joshua is well prepared for Jarred Brooks.“

Also scheduled for ONE 164 is the co-main event showdown between Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Panpayak Jitmuangnon in the finals of the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix. The winner will likely lock up the No.1-ranked contender slot.

Joshua Pacio sends a stern warning to Jarred Brooks

Joshua Pacio and Jarred Brooks have been going at it on social media and in the tabloids for the better part of a year. The time for talk is nearly over with the two strawweight stars on a collision course for ONE 164 when ONE Championship returns to Manila.
