‘Count’ set to take on Gegard Mousasi in England

- UFC is set to return to England, and the date is set for eb. 27, 2015 at the O2 Arena. While there is no prize for guessing that hometown hero Michael Bisping will be involved on the card, his opponent has been announced to be Gegard Mousasi.

The veteran Mousasi will be looking to gain some lost steam after he was knocked out by Uriah Hall last September, while ‘Count’ is on a 2-fight winning streak after toppling Thales Leites and CB Dolloway this year.

Despite losing one to title contender Luke Rockhold last year, Bisping still hasn’t given up on his aspirations of one day competing for the UFC Middleweight title. A win over ‘The Dreamcatcher’ is sure to put him in the conversation.

- Holly Holm, the UFC women’s bantamweight champion, will receive a hero’s welcome this weekend as she returns to her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Holly stunned the whole combat sports world when she knocked out longtime dominant women’s champion Ronda Rousey in the main event at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia last month.

A welcome parade for the champion is lined up on December 6th, in City Plaza at 4 p.m. local time. Holm is the first athlete to ever win world titles in both Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts.
