MMA News: Cyborg calls out Ronda Rousey!

 Cyborg wants the super fight!

The women’s division in the UFC is booming with new stars and new champions after the downfall of the Arm Collector, Ronda Rousey. Since then, the women’s bantamweight division has witnessed the crowning of three new champions.

There was when another female monster was lurking around the corner of the UFC gates for quite a while, Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino. She finally entered the Octagon and dismantled Leslie Smith. The former Strikeforce featherweight champion carried on her quest to be the best after dominating Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 95, in Brasilia, Brazil.

Despite showcasing her excellent grappling skills and the perfect display of punching power that helped her pick up the victory, the only question that popped in the mind of the spectator’s is this – Who’s next?!

“I want Ronda to come back.”

The statement carried an important message that Justino pointed out by saying, “I think she (Ronda Rousey) should show people even when you lose, it’s not the end of the world. You cannot give up.”

While the women’s division’s news star is confident about taking on big fights, the UFC will ultimately decide the right time, the right place and the right opponent. In any case, Cyborg appears to be geared up for the super fight.

Ever since Rousey lost her title, the women’s bantamweight division has had three new champions, and UFC President Dana White had previously guaranteed her a title fight upon her return. Also, a rumoured bout between Rowdy and Amanda Nunes for UFC 207 has not been ruled out by the company's official matchmakers.

Putting the big match aside, Justino would love to fight anyone in the top ten rankings instead of a newbie making a debut. Just like MMA legend Dan Henderson, Cyborg has dominated in most of the popular MMA promotions and has held the Invicta FC and Strikeforce titles.

One of the most important feats in her career was winning the inaugural Strikeforce Featherweight Championship. Expect a super fight between the inaugural UFC women’s bantamweight champion and inaugural Strikeforce women’s featherweight champion to be one epic showdown.
