MMA News: Cyborg wants to dismantle Ronda!

Cyborg stays dominant despite weight cut!

Ever since Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino entered the Octagon, people ask her only one question: “When are you going to fight Ronda?”. Fans and pundits alike, have waited for this bout for a while now while Cyborg has been busy dominating other organisations and winning titles.

The new monster of the women’s division has expressed her feelings for Ronda Rousey on FS1’s ‘Speak For Yourself’.

"Sure, if I fight her she'll have to have surgery on her face after. I'm not kidding.”

She also stated that the last time she stepped into the Octagon, she left her opponent with a nose broken in three places.

While Rousey was breaking people’s arms during her dominant undefeated reign as the only UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Cyborg was bludgeoning people with her ‘fists of fury’.

Cyborg has been trying hard to secure a fight with Ronda and has campaigned online for the dream fight to transform into a reality.

"Ronda doesn't say anything," said Cyborg.

"She doesn't even say my name. She used (UFC president) Dana White and her mother to talk to me, because she knows if she says my name, she'll have to fight me. She knows this.”

The problem for Cyborg, however, is that the UFC doesn’t have a women’s featherweight division at the moment and is seemingly not in favour of it in the near future.

Cyborg in the past has fought at a catch-weight of 140 pounds. This can be the only solution for the duo as Cyborg definitely won’t do well at 135 pounds division.

The struggle she embraced during her previous weight cut to 140 pounds, shows that cutting to bantamweight would be nearly impossible for the Brazillian.

Cyborg is a two-time Gold medalist at The World Jiujitsu Championship and will certainly put the Rousey’s Olympic bronze medal winning Judo skills to the test.

The Brazilian was also the inaugural Strikeforce and inaugural Invicta featherweight champion defending both titles three times on separate occasions.

The fight between the two would be definitely one of the must-see super fights.
