Russian Gadzhimusa Gaziev (6-1-0) has accepted the last minute call to face the undefeated Brazilian, Thiago Vieira in the co-main event of the first Brave card. Since Mohammad Fakhreddine was withdrawn from BRAVE – The Beginning due to an injury, Brave Combat Federation announced a substitute for the Lebanese welterweight.

Gaziev has a professional record of six wins, four of them by the way of knockout while he has only one loss in his professional career. The 24-year-old Daguestani won his last two bouts and will make his debut with BRAVE in Bahrain, after competing in seven bouts in his home country.

Training at the highly decorated Gorets MMA team, alongside known Russian names such as Rashid Magomedov and Ramazan Emeev, “Deadshot” has a solid boxing background and guarantees that he’s not afraid of his opponent’s credentials.

“Thiago is a high-level striker but I’m ready for the war against him!”, Daguestani said. In turn, Thiago Vieira is still undefeated in professional MMA, with eight wins, all of them by the way of knockout or submission. After winning a national championship in Brazil, and standing out in the South American circuit, “Monstro” is also set to make his international debut for BRAVE.

The new main event for BRAVE – The Beginning will also see the much-anticipated bout between the long-time rivals and Middle Eastern stars Abdul Kareem Al Selwady and Rami Aziz, finally settling their differences inside the cage.
