In a bizarre turn of events, MMA fighter Julian Wallace – Julz the Jackal – strangled his fiance Jessy Jess when she was late to arrive home and brought with her the wrong noodles.

Wallace pleaded guilty to Newtown Local Court and admitted to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of intentionally choking with recklessness and the hearing of the incident has been scheduled for 7th December when he will be handed out his sentence.

Wallace has tattoos over his entire body, with much of his face also covered in them. He was previously known as Julian Dean Rabaud before changing his name to Julian Brave Wallace.

This bizarre incident happened earlier this year on 28th April, when Jess – also an MMA fighter – arrived late at their home in Sydney, Australia with the wrong food. This infuriated Wallace and he started to shout at his partner, before pulling her T-shirt and accusing her of cheating on him. The wrestler then completely lost it and started to kick Jess in the head.

According to a report by Daily Telegraph Australia, Wallace then demanded his fiance to return their engagement ring and threatened to break her fingers if she didn’t. Enraged by all this, Jess started packing her stuff but was attacked by Wallace, who punched her before applying the chokehold on her.

As mentioned, Jess herself is an MMA fighter and she used her skills to fight back and save herself from Wallace. She powered out of the chokehold before hitting her boyfriend in the head, which knocked him out, enabling her to inform the police.

Speaking about the incident, Jessy Jess said: “I kept tapping him on the arm because I could feel that I was going to lose consciousness.

"He pulled tighter and I thought that would be the end.”

Ever since Jess has moved to America to further her career in MMA and going by the skills she possesses to break free of a chokehold, it can be safely said that she would do just fine in the world of MMA.
