The UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has stirred controversy online on Instagram, posting a picture of him with a killer-looking kind of gun, wearing a red robe. He has captioned it stating “You need people like me,” picking a popular line from a 1980 classic Scarface.
Indeed The Notorious one never stops showing off that he’s a tough guy, but this time, he seems to have gone a little bit too far. The image of him posing with a gun has created a lot of tension amongst the fans who are pouring out their criticism online.
One fan replied- “ Why post a pic with a gun when it is guns what kill innocent people every day and you hold it like it’s a toy?”
Looks like the champ can’t indulge himself in any productive work due to his injury caused during his match with his foe, Nate Diaz. Despite hailing victorious from the rematch, he has indeed suffered quite some damage, especially to his leg. He was seen leaving the venue with the help of crutches.
McGregor is on a six months medical suspension, and won’t make it back to the Octagon soon, which might leave his fans in a dreadful state.
