Michael 'Venom' Page continues his winning ways with an impressive finish over Italian Giovanni Melillo at the main event of Bellator Europe 6. With the MMA event taking place in London, Page put up a good show for his hometown fans with fast moves and aggressive punches.

It took Page a little less than two minutes into the first round to drop his opponent to the ground and register the tenth KO win of his professional career and the eighth one under Bellator.

MVP too fast and furious for Melillo

Page was originally scheduled to American Welterweight Derek Anderson in the main event of Bellator London. But 'Barbaric' had to pull out days before the event owing to an injury, the nature of which remained undisclosed.

Melillo was booked as the replacement and it set up the best debut he could hope for to begin his run at Bellator. However, he was outdone by Page by quite a margin, as Melillo failed to make much of a dent on MVP's iron-clad armor.

Most of Page's strikes hit home and his trademark mixture of low kicks and punches proved to be too much for the newcomer. Finally, it took Page not more than one big right-hand slug at 1.47 minutes to knock his opponent out cold and take his current winning streak to two.

MVP came back to winning ways with a first-round flying knee knockout win over Richard Kiely at Bellator 227, with which he bounced back from the sole defeat of his career against Douglas Lima at Bellator 221.
