MMA News: Chris Weidman says Michael Bisping would be his "easiest fight"

Chris Wiedman wants to be next to fight for the title

The former UFC Middleweight champion Chris Weidman, during an interview, went on to state that Michael Bisping is opting to make smart move. In an interview with MMAJunkie, the former champion states that Bisping is completely avoiding him, and trying to take on easy fighters.

Michael Bisping defeated Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 which let the world witness a true Rocky story. Bisping, who had never received a title shot before, made the best of it in his maiden attempt.

Now after his victory, Bisping feels that his next opponent should be neither Rockhold nor Weidman as he points out that both the fighters are coming off a loss.

The same night at UFC 199 Dan Henderson scored an impressive knockout victory over Hector Lombard and is now demanding a rematch with Bisping for the title. To this Bisping seems to agree.

Indicating that Henderson isn’t a top ranked fighter anymore, Weidman feels that Bisping is embarrassing himself by calling out Hendo.

Weidman also feels that Bisping is acting as if he is now the ‘match-maker’. He also feels that he should be next in line to fight for Bisping’s title, as he was originally booked and pulled out of the match at UFC 199.

Being the former champion Weidman claims that he can fight Bisping without a training camp and also states that Bisping would be his easiest opponent in 5 years.
